if anyone needs a tailshaft made give brendon at petron automotive a call (its on tradelink rd in browns plains) Tell him matt with the rb26 s14 sent you, he will lookafter you. if your paying $700 for a tailshaft im pretty sure you would be getting ripped off. but it depends what you are after i spose

the car has been off te road agin for a few weks now. we went to tune it and th firs run after i put th 3.5 inch zorst on it the boost would not hold at all. i hit 25psi at 5000rm when he backed off. we put it down to the manifold which does not work properly due to the colector design and wastegate position. the guy that made the manifol tells me it happens from time to time and the only way to fix it is to weld the wastegate into the top of the exhaust housing of the turbo. have any of your guys ever heard or seen this being done?? to me it seems stupid to be cutting holes into perfectly good turbos to fix a known problem in design of a manifold. im ot too woried about it i just want to know if this is a comon thing ps i think there is something wrong with my key board lease excuse the missin leters

i have an rb20 flywheel and a rb25 clutch and gearbox on my 26 so im almost sure u can go rb 20 or 25 flywheel i picked up flywheel and clutch for $50 from wreckers just dont tell them is for a 26 or they will charge u more.

what sort of turbo r u going to run??? check out www.6boost.com for turbo and maniold packs. i just rebuild my rb26 from top to bottom, cams head work forged botom end, and 6boost exhaust manifold with a gt35r (.86 rear). she made 280atw kw on 11 psi with fulll boost by 3900rpm

the car is finally done now after what has been a very long wait. 2 workshops later and a $5000 rip off and over 12 months she is all done bar final tune. i can finally ditch this 1991 white camry wagon. big thanks to trent from mercury motorsport, for helping me out of a stick situation u made the whole thing alot eaiser. It made 275kw @7000rpm on 12psi still waiting for engine covers and have a 2 page list of things to do but for now im very happy with it besides the understeer.
