Iam needing help in which tyres to buy for my R34 Skyline. As we all know it is pretty easy to loose it in the wet with skylines. I am looking for the best quality tyres that will give me the best grip on the roads and especially in the wet. I was thinking Bridgestone Potenzas or Pirelli's. $$$ is not a problem.
Iam also in the same position that you are, I have already made my decision though and I opted for a R34 Gt-t. The justification came down to "I'll never be this age again so you might as well live it up, there will be plenty of time in the future to make money"
Mate its only a matter of time untill it all loosens up a little. There is plenty of compliancers that will hold on to your parts and then refit them back on. The only problem will be supplying the original parts but by then many compliancers will have a shit load of spares.
The new scheme will probably make the resale value of your car higher mainly due to the fact that only RAWS approved workshops can now import vehicles and the higher price you have to pay for compliance.
Then again there is currently big demand for R34's which will effect the demand for R33s.
It is a pretty damn good idea. Me and my mates have our own set so we can go cruising, the last time we used it was at Dandenong mountains. Someone goes up and tells the others if the road is clear then we see how fast we can climb up the mountain
Mate you should have got one from Japan, prices are real low at the moment, my friend just picked up a 95 GT Limited Soarer for 501,000 Yen and the car was estimated to sell for over 1.2million.
