  1. Link not working
  2. It seems like as time goes on there are more and more people with 350Z's going with a RB swap. There is one in Miami, FL that's had it for a while. My buddy her In Orlando is in the process as well. Oh, there is another from the North East also. So by the begining of the summer I hope to have learned a bit more or more importantly find out what were some of the hurttles they faced in the process, leran from them and avoid them. Here is a reply by JE import performance when I asked them about there RB26DETT motor swap kit for the 350Z/G35 "Yes, the production mount kit is almost ready to ship. The mount kit includes the transmission mount, engine mounts, and front crossmember. We can set you up with a package including the major components you would need to do the swap if you would like. Let me know if we can help." The mag feturing there RB swapped G35 is on news stands now. January issue of TURBO
  3. http://www.topsecretjpn.com/engine.shtml scroll down to the bottom and check out the price of that fully built TS RB26
  4. Forgive the late response I'm not getting email notifications
  5. Thanks for the site's, as soon as the wife stops yaping to get off of the PC I'll check them out. Yes indeed shipping will hurt big time. I wanted to import a Kei Office body kit from Japan and was going to run me 670 by water and 880 by air....I felt violated just by opening that email...lol
  6. Although easier to obtain and to find a good reputable shop here in Orlando, FL I think both motor's are equally potential of high HP I'd prefer to stay with Nissan.....I've yet to need a flame suit in all the Z threads I visit...
  7. :laughing-smiley-014: Well I think in the long run (high WHP) per dollar wise the RB is the way to go. I've been keeping track/ studding the FI VQ35's and they are good for about 425-450RWHP on stock internals before fortification is something needed to go up higher from there. I've only started to research the RB26DETT motor now and it seems to me that with less effort/ bolt on parts it's easier to start increasing HP to a level that heavy machining and internal replacement is needed for the VQ. IMOP that's why I'm here, to learn and educate myself on the Rb26
  8. I see that more and more as time goes on and it's popularity increases. I'm just trying to research every possible conner before I purchase something then find a bada$$ deal later for not searching hard enough
  9. %$$^ thats like 11,600 USD according to my Currency Converter
  10. thanks for the info. Yeah shipping to here is a $#%& on average anywere from 400 to 6-650.
  11. Hey guys, new to the site, nice to met you all. I'm looking into swaping my VQ35 motor and tranny in my 350Z for a RB26DETT motor and a RB25 Tranny. My question is where would be a good place to start looking for one. A place that is trust worthy and known for quality parts....shops, junkyards...etc Most importantly what should I expect to pay for them. Here in the U.S RB distributers over charge. thanks guys
