  3. [quote name='simon-ae86' date='8 Mar 2007, 06:01 PM' post='2964545 anyway the owner of the car has already gotr a quote to fix it.. from a crash repairer in the adelaide hills.. Quote was $300 and they reckon there is suspension damage also. what a load of shit... tell them that you want a second opinion and try and take it to someone you know... otherwise if they have no insurance tell em to stick it up their asses and to fix it themselves and that you'll give their car a cut n polish f*kn criminals excess with insurance sometimes is worth more than damage caused... seriously tell em to blow it out their asses with the suspension...
  4. figures mean nothing... its wether you are pleased with your vehicle... my car "supposedly" made 214.9rwkw... now i know its a little high for the mods i had but hey it felt quicker and thats all i gave a shit about... the mindset you need is that you just need to be pleased with the driveability of the vehicle... you do supporting mods so that way your motor will cope and you get the most out of your driving experience with your car.. take it for a run down 1/4 and after you get it tuned and see how it feels... guaranteed with highflow pfc inj n your current mods with ebc holding boost even at 1 bar you'll freak.. my 2 c
  5. you can run whatever boost you want as long as the tune is spot on... should tune it on 16psi and run like 15 or 14 to be safe if your paranoid...
  6. if they skinny and old then they stock (i think lol)
  7. I vote set shift light at 6k by the time you see it, you'll be changing at 6.5-7k

  14. I have a HKS super dragger... its a deep sound but not where near as loud as a the common cannon exhaust... but its an 8" barrel and 5" tip LOL massive bastard if you want quiet and low profile go for the magnaflow... someone on here is currently selling a cat back... nothing special in looks but its quiet and does the job
  15. wtf is wrong with people on here? The kids asking a question and he's getting crucified? People have opted to help... and its good that they have... people who are just going to make him look like a fool and play "follow the leader" beacuse one person says "oh what a dumb question" should take their own advice and just stfu If it bothers you soo much that he's posting and asking these questions then don't open the topic if you see his name.... common sense... p.s. if the search button worked as well as it should then we'd all be using it
  16. Pulsar N14... reliable and cheap! But corolla is good too!
  17. lol when you get your engine flush... have a wiff (not too much you'll get high ) its metho dude! thats what engine flush is with a few other little things in it.. and some other stuff dunno what... The semi synthetic valvoline durablend... worked better in tests they done than the mobile 1 fully sikthetic... cars yours... choice is yours...
  18. theres an old school way of doing it which is basically the same as what the products are based on now for the engine/oil flush... METHOLATED SPIRITS the old school way is to empty your engine oil out... pour the kerosine in there.. run car for abouit 5mins or so, then flush out again... then pour like low quality oil in there (like a $20 bottle of stuff) run car again for 15mins... empty that... then pour your top knotch oil in there.. dura blend semi synthetic is good for standard internal motors.. its not too thin but everyone has mixed reactions to this just like MANWHORE said
  19. Fair point there... i'm going back to stock air box at the moment i thaught i'd just leave it after i clear my defect anways... the only thing is that i've got a gt2876R with a .70 comp cover and 3" SS intake pipe.. all needs to be modified again including the cold side of the intercooler pipe lol headf**ks but yea if people are running 300kw+ with standard air box i see a really good reason to go back to stock
  20. how would a car run with a just say gt30 and the standard air box? would it struggle to take in the air or has it been proved to be ok?
  21. dude it looks REALLY good...! well done Also just a quick question... that return hose for the BOV to the intake pipe... what sort of material is that? i'm in need of some for my bov... f*kn standard return pipe is too narrow
