  1. Like 1kg lighter? Does it make a difference? like really?
  2. are you reffering to what i wrote? EDIT: Its only logical that when you unscrew it, it runs more boost, pressure is escaping causing the wastegate actuator to stay closed until it creates enough boost to actually open it... same sort of principal as ripping the hose off the wastegate.. except you'll get infinite boost so to speak so umm... not sure if its the same with this boost controller but a bleed valve is a bleed valve... thats how they work
  3. plastic? lol sonsofbitches... no wonder i had no front wheel and no rear wheel... i was sure it was ceramic both front and rear.. either way they don't last long
  4. check that the actuator is opening all the way... if it is then make sure the wastegate hole on the back of the turbo is big enough to let the gasses escape... the problem here is that your exh gasses arn't escaping in effect creating more boost.. theres a few threads that people have put up with the same problem just have a look around.. also check that your cat isn't blocked hope this helps
  5. Hey dude... they usually charge by the hr for welding.. i know my workshop charge like $88 or sumfin per hr cos its "welding" and its more hazardous or sumfin... not too sure... but a good fabricator can knock sumfin like that off in a couple of hrs... then you have your bends and striaght s/s pipes which are like $15-$20 per bend depending where you get it from, your best bet is to go to a workshop that does it and ask for full price... btw s/s looks HEAPS better than the shit alloy pipe they give you in kits.. just a bit more $ lol
  6. I thaught when you tighten a bleed valve it actually decreases the boost your turbo makes because its not bleeding air off, which then in effect should give you the boost that its meant to make normally like 8psi or sumfin with your mods... If you unscrew it, it bleeds air off not letting your actuator open all the way causing your turbo to make more boost... make sure its pointing the right direction aswell dude... like i think arrow towards actuator (can't exactly remember) But yea they're tempremental and could spike every now and again and cause fluctuation in boost pressure.. if its completely closed you should be running stock boost like 8psi...

    Water Restrictions

LOL Government sonsofbitches... millions of litres of water goes to waste f*kn all the time.. at my work apparently a water main burst or some c**t forgot the tap on LOL anyways the whole lower level of the car park was under water along with the building mangers wife's car that was left there overnight for safe keeping LOL.. this put a 30 story building out with like 20 companies working in the building for like 2 weeks cos they were pumping the water out it shorted the mains out and f*kd everything.... everyone sued everyone lol the assholes were pumping water out into the middle of the st for like a full day or so... nearly a million ltrs of water turned to shit that day, oh and the 2 burst water mains in my st that they just cant seem to fix ... nice one labour!! but its all good to compensate they'll set up more defect road blocks and give more people canaries...
  8. your best bet is to give nissan a crack... thats where most of the car audio shops get theirs from dude and they shouldn't be too expensive.. but i think its a generic nissan type so yea.. good luck anyways!
  9. YOU SONOFA... lol at least you solved your problem
  10. Yes your ceramic turbo lost its wheels... Not his GT30 that he fitted 4 weeks ago... and he said before that theres no smoke... so i assume it can't be that severe.. well he hopes not anyways
  11. which one? the wastegate part or the vac line part? either way maybe you should take it to the mechanic and ask him to tell you whats wrong b4 he starts working on it... that way you can see if its going to cost you mega$$ or not.. possibly not... if the wastegate rod has fallen off the flapper its cos they didn't put that freaking little circlip on it... if its vac line its a $20 fix maybe even less... either of the 2 its easy fiX bud! anything else is beyond me...
  12. hey hey... thats true aswell... could be that... could it be a vac line aswell? or nah?
  13. LOL f*kn hacks! What they figure is... if you don't see it.. it wont hurt you... WRONG MUDAf*kRS!!! They should take a crash course in how to unf**kthemselves.
  14. Check your wastegate maybe.. cos its internally gated could have popped the little thingomabob off the flapper from the actuator causing the flapper to be constantly open..? just a suggestion
  15. LOL! +100000000 for that one
  16. GT30? hmm do you have the standard bov? or aftermarket?
  17. anyone have any input about the highflow turbo thing i wrote?
  18. Far out... these guys hit 20psi with your standard turbo? Man they're car audio fitters, they should stick to that, i can't belive they're fitting coolers and all these little gizmo's n shit when they don't know.. for all we know they probably shorted out the solenoid causing it to shit itself.. cos they had a 16yr old working on it... not to mention they went for a bust in your car and hit 20psi... bastards!
  19. poor bloke... no wonder i hear so many people say "no mudaf*ka is touchin my car except ME" after seeing this i completely understand... you should confront them about it and say wtf is this shit.?
