When i had my turbo done in my car and new cooler piping and all that crap my workshop removed the carbon canister... i dun know why they did it but they seem to think it doesn't do anything in particular.. it wont hurt leaving it in, they just took that out and put my oil catch tank there... still not sure exactly what its for tho...

Try deleting all old files and cookies n that in your web browser... or.... try another pc... same thing happened to me but it came good.

The venting bov's is a common problem with R33's with their sensitive air flow meters, Because the air isn't being plumbed back and the air flow meter cant sense any air coming back through when changing gears or gearing down it overfuels and stalls. Get the standard one or a plumb back one and make the air go back into the intake pipe or get a safc or another ecu (which is what mighthave been on prior to you buying the car). Go back to standard you cant go wrong if you dont have many mods like bigger turbo.

Where the handle is on the passanger door the actual handle that you pull to open the door from the inside has a plastic cover which unclips and there should be a screw behind it, its a bit hard to explain but thats your issue (i think) cos the same thing happened to me, you just forget sometimes where the little bastards are.

I've heard alot about the DENSO intank pump they're based on the tomei pumps i think.. easy fit in R33 but a bit pricey.

I totally agree with this topic but in my area its pricks on pushbikes. They ride in the middle of the road like they're the only ones around and they get pissed off at you for nearly clipping them when they're the pricks that didn't look where they're going! One dickhead on a bike had a go at me when I beeped my horn, if I didn't beep he wouldhave been laying on the floor and I wouldhave been the worst person in the world! I gave hiom a mouth full but that don't acheive anything... they make bike lanes & pedestrian crossings for a reason and these pricks don't use em. I say f*k em all!

Flutter sounds good on some cars not all... some cars sound absolutly f*king annoying! My friends s15 has a big ass apexi gtr intercooler i cant remember how thick the core is but i think its like 110mm? correct me if i'm wrong bout the cooler but it sounds awesome. The quick flutter noise (like alot of skylines i've heard) and a few s15's s14's i've heard and 180's sound SHIT with the quickets tutututut you'll ever hear and then a pop after the gear change lol cos of the added richness which makes u just wana kick the owner in the teeth... besides they wanted to attention didn't they? But flutter on standard skyline ceramic turbo = no go zone unless your looking for an excuse for a bigger turbo. My 2 c.

Yea this things going to be an absolute monster and apparently they're trying to hit the drift scene with it according to the HPI magazine the photo was in. They were saying something about looking to hit around 400+rwkw mark and who knows how much torque it'll have... Its good to see something different every now and again.

Best to buy a boost guage to save your self alot of $$ with guessing, unless the blitz sbc shows you the level of boost but if didn't have to tap into vac lines it more than likely wont. When you can see how much boost your running you turn up the ebc bit by bit if your unsure otherwise dyno runs will help cos they'll tap into the vac lines to check the psi your car is running.

Its not exactly the best idea getting it from the ciggie lighter... best to go to the ign barrel and get your ign and then earth on metal just incase it over loads the circuit of the ign wire then keeps popping fuses. But i suppose if it does just put a higher amp fuse in.. good luck dude!

Yea someone asked for no pickles in their cheeseburger and it all started from there... You crack down on hoons but they'll be cracking down on EVERYONE now... I seem to think in the coppers eyes a hoon is anyone who drives a car with an exhaust so we kinda all fkd unfortunatly, but yes more tracks would be nice... more drag racing events and maybe if they just didn't pull people over for random sh!t it would be good too because if you aint a "hoon" you got nothing to worrie about... true?

Wow 350 to a full tank... i get around 400 and thats with mods too... this is only when my foot feels like a feather for a week changing gears at 3-4k... Do alot of people get around 400 or is it usually 300-350?

Yea nearly everyone i've met with an R33 has come across this issue at least once in their time owning one. Apparently with the higher boost comes the over fueling and the plugs can't keep up with the ammount of fuel being thrown in creating missfire. I think thats correct anyone feel free to correct me... And yea the common fix was the aroldite trick and the good type electrical tape wrapped around but those links will help 100%! It helped me when i came across this problem... came on here and got the low-down on wtf was going on with my baby... couple hours later, gapping plugs taping up sh!t and wala! no more missn! Also a form of engine management helps a lot aswell like safc or power fc (preffered)... Good luck dude!

If i were you i wouldn't be too paranoid until you actually get the letter cos you'll just be doing your head in for the next 2-3 weeks.. until you get it... thats if you get it...

Yea it'll work dude.. all it adjusts is the AFR settings so it'll just run as normal like it did prior to having the safc fitted/tuned. Its alllll gewd... Just put the colours together for the one you have to rejoin lol

Nah dude i took mine out myself its all good... just unhook the battery to make sure you don't short anything out, there will be a wire thats cut in half that you will need to join back together and thats about it really. make sure no exposed wires etc and you'll be sweet...

When i got my turbo back exh done i felt as tho it wasn't as much different low-mid rpm but after 4k it reved out higher and a bit faster... Just opened it up more i suppose
