  3. the pic says it was taken 3 years ago, is the condition still the same?
  4. rebuild stock, you wont regret it i didn't rebuilt and now i regret it
  5. i've been done for oil breather, their explanation was that "the fumes from the breather can cause your engine bay to catch on fire and your insurance wont cover you" sounds reasonable i suppose but f*k what their reason is... at the end of the day its the law and they don't need a reason
  6. every one i've heard was extremely loud! especially on SR's my friend had to get one of those apexi DECS thingo's to lower the DB for less attention, they look awesome tho!
  7. probably a commodore specific forum dude but G/L anyway
  8. Realistically, if a professional theive wants your car he'll take it, but the basic 3 point immobiliser will work as well as the person who fitted it. The theive will automatically go for under the dash, if all the wires are exposed and he can easilly find the unit then your in a bit of trouble, thats when experienced fitters will make everything look standard and hidden to make it harder. You will also want a backup battery siren thats nicely hidden so they don't just jam a cordless drill through it and shut it up (which i've seen happen before) But a normal immobiliser/ alarm unit will deter the odd f**kwit that tries to break into your car. Never tell people or have a sticker on your car showing what the unit is. Hope this helps... good luck
  9. aerial?
  10. will it fit in the boot of my 33?
  11. If the cat collapses it should be covered under warranty right? Or will they put the blame game on your car?
  12. LOL it works... but wouldn't recommend it on a r33 with the ceramic wheels.. blew mine out my exaust pipe and also straight into the intercooler.. i don't see any issue with a steel wheel type turbo edit: i have fixed this up cos people can't seem to understand wtf i was saying...
  13. considering you can get a non touch screen jvc double din unit for around <$600 i wouldn't waste money on the unit from ebay considering they're garbage.
  14. when the metal cat collapses, does it by any chance let off a really strong smell?
  15. fully sick wulleh
  16. still got plenty of coolant in there? i've noticed in my old cars that when i ran out of coolant heater dusn't work
  17. could it be similar to the hybrid ebc? just 2 pots, one for high and one for low and a button to switch between high and low boost? oh and the solenoid looks like the turbosmart/ apexi avcr one
  18. its only a matter of time until you get a cop that knows what he's doing and taps your cat thats punched out and hears the "ding" then your screwed i nearly got dicked when the cop kneeled down to look under my car, lucky he didn't see the straight pipe, after that i got myself a metal cat, f**k that fine for a joke... its just not worth it
  19. LOL @ 79,000k's whatta load of sheit
  20. the stupid thing is that you can own a radar detector, but illegal to use..
  21. in the 33's its a bit easier, pretty much as above... You have your power and earth in the boot, make sure you earth it to a factory bolt and not the battery. Run your speaker cables to the rear of the car with your RCA's and along with your trigger wire Run all your rca's just incase you want to run subs n stuff in the future so you don't have to pull everything appart again. If you get a amp wiring kit, 8 guage is plenty for what your running and will have everything in there except speaker wires. you also need to take our your back seats to run the cables... bit of mucking around if your up to it, but there are generic amp wiring diagrams which all work the same anyways. for bridging the channels etc. you don't need that for your 6"'s
