  1. you can't really rebuild the water pump as such, also if you havn't done your 100k service, then do that too at the same time cos 9 times out of 10 you need to take the timing belt off, but some people have done it without taking the belt off... but theres a little hole at the front of the water pump which you can see from underneath, it usually leaks from there when the seal inside is gone, its like a breather hole or something like that, but keep an eye on the coolant cos it'll drain quickly
  2. That sux Dean, before making assumptions make sure Rob gives you all the info you need!
  3. hey... thats what mine looks like! after i got defected, i did the same thing as you... doesn't even look like i have an intercooler now... no more attention

  6. I've noticed a few other workshops opening up around the sunshine/ braybrook area and one of em have at least 20 skylines there and a wide body S13 silvia... interested to see feedback from that workshop actually Try n stay away from mcintyre road
  7. That looks a little restrictive compared to other alternatives, re-making the pipe could be an option to curve around the snorkle, thats what i done but i have a r33
  8. are they any good those bushes from ebay? but its supplied and fitted for $160 each i think i need some soon lol
  9. i got my water pump replaced with a rb26 one timing belt replaced with genuine nissan the 2 bearings that your meant to replace at the same time as timing belt were fine according to mechanic my diff oil & transmission oil replaced the other belts replaced and just coolant replaced supplied and fitted was around $800 from memory but your getting a fair few other things done too and all adds up so sounds about right when you think about it.
  10. correction.. half a shaboinkin' LOL remember everyone... if you do burnouts and speed 5km over the limit you have a small wang whatta load of shit
  11. best bet it to get more than one quote for the same parts from different workshops...
  12. so nismoid if you get called back to EPA you get a $500 fine? since when? you just said before EPA for emission test is free, epa for exhaust test goes by the shop its tested at... is this meant to be something new is it?
  13. EPA is for free as far as i'm aware, canary's are around $177 a pop from my experience.
  14. shouldn't cost too much from the wreckers dude, but just replace it yourself should be easy enough to give you a rough idea, a whole boot can cost around $100 give or take but the latch thingo itself should cost bugger all
  15. Hey emsta these are the ones your talking about LOL
  16. Genuine bosch fuel pumps DIRECT FROM BOSCH are under $150, but yes never heard of a $140 bosch fuel pump, maybe its a fakie like the ones that are apparently going around

    So And So

did they sell it with warranty? or without? if its under warranty shouldn't they repair those things? what did they say when you confronted them?
  19. but thats against everything they stand for... so what about people who speed but have large penis'?
  20. What the f*k? thats some gay shit...
  21. nah dude, harbour esp is far from a wasteland... unless your there around 3am its the road that goes along side the Telstra Dome... i suppose its 40km cos of all the people walking around and going footy and events etc. which is fair enough but for the gov that place is a gold mine. not a blackspot for accidents...
  22. Speaking of revenue raising, i've noticed the police hanging around this area alot on harbour esp. docklands... reasons being are; - their cop shop is across the road (easy to go take a piss etc etc.) - 40k speed limit - longish and slightly boring road i.e. easy to go over 40k's if you don't pay attention - they wait at the traffic lights, when they catch someone speeding they press the pedestrian crossing button which straight away changes the light to red so you stop and they telll you to move to the side of the road. - if anyone decides to run that red light or they can't stop them by foot they have a cop car waiting for a chase. - i've seen up to 8 police officers there at once. WHAT THE f**k DO THEY NEED 8 COPS THERE FOR?? - in no way is this road a black spot for accidents!!!!! in a nutshell they are f*king theives!! my 2c
  23. from the brain of the alarm theres a couple of fuses that come off it, for power and for indicators if the fuse is fine check if they have used diodes to split the signal to go to the 2 indicator wires, they could be faulty also but dusn't happen that often.. easiest bet check the fuse from the alarm
