Well the whole "trimatic is a piece of shit" comment isn't really voicing your opinion, it's making a judgement on a topic that you're not really qualified to express an opinion on. A more suitable comment would be "i havent had much experience with this gearbox"

Well i is a Performance shop that build custom cars... and i as well as heaps of other shops have seen really good results from the trimatic. Hugos has done tons of 9 second VLs with a trimatic behind them with very few issues so i wouldn't go mouthing off just because it's not something you do yourself.

Ha ha ha mine isn't your average berlina buddy..... do your homework.

Hey Campbell I've seen your car before and its a nice ride, looks clean, and its got quite a bit of hardware on it. Is your car an auto or manual? Everyone giving campbell a hard time, give him a break. When the car is finished it'll give him an opportunity to prove himself, so reserve judgement until that time. Its simple, when it goes to the track you'll see if it makes 900. Dynos are easy and vary from shop to shop, but the track MPH never lies. A 9 second pass should be a shoe in. Kier Wilsons car only makes 900ish hp @ the wheels and runs a 8.87 @ 165 MPH (its a GTR yes i know so it'll ET better usually, but the MPH should still be there). Oh and campbell ease up on the commodore comments, or you may just find yourself pulling up next to mine!

Hey Guys as the topic says, i have an R34 Gtr 6 speed getrag gearbox. It has done 45 000kms and has only been removed because of an OS Giken 5 speed conversion. The car was never modified while this gearbox was in, not even the boost was increased. $4000 I am located on the gold coast Thank you, Dane
