  2. ok will do. i have been cruising around nothing above 100km/h and it has been keeping below 95 with cracked radiator. so we know how it goes cracked and will see how much better it is with new one and shroud or no shroud. hahahaha

  5. hey everyone, been doing a bit of searching on here and didnt come up with the answer I was looking for. My stock radiator is cracked and I was thinking maybe alloy upgrade as oppose to get stock one fixed. if i get one of these 40-50mm alloy ones, will it just drop in fine, or will I need to remove the clutch fan aswell and put thermos in?

  9. yeh the nankangs r ok, i think i may have jus been venting some frustration at it happening right before this cruise, lol
  10. yeh it resets when ignition gets turned off. i only adjust it when i wanna run 10psi, have been taking it pretty easy while i wait for injectors and fuel pump. have any of you guys fitted a bosch 044 to a 33? i'll be lookin a lil bit drift on sunday as my rear passenger side tyre blew out today, dodgy bloody nankang shit. will be good to have some decent tread up back.
  11. yeh i took 3deg out of the whole map the other day, as i had read the manual and susses it out. seems to work well, but im still not gonna go too hard till i get some injectors and tune it

  13. lol, didnt mean to spark a ca v's sr debate, but hey, good clean fun. put a power fc in my car yesterday, but wont have it tuned for the cruise, so i'll jus have to not go too hard on it till i get it tuned. has the hand controller, and all seems ok, knock gets up to 35 on high boost (10 psi), thats not gonna hurt is it?
  14. its actually pretty quick. should have at least 300rwhp when it gets its full tune after being run in.
  15. lol cheers, it sounds heaps better then the stock pc of crap. my mate will be along in his sweet as s13 with ca18 to get it run in. he's gettin it tuned for run in with a new power fc on tuesday. mountain run will do it good.
  16. hey guys. i'll be up for this one. will meet at the hyperdome. after my old turbo blew on the mt cootha cruise it only seems fair to take it on its first cruise with the new one for the '2nd chance' cruise, lol. have also added a turbosmart fpr800 fuel reg and apexi avc-r since new turbo. should be good fun
  17. nah didnt get a fine for the bar and BOV. dont have to worry about fixing the bar cos its not cut, and one side of BOV is now sealed. jus need to find time to go to the cop shop
  18. yeh i think I should be fine hey. funny thing happened today. I called the police station to arrange an appointment as per the official qld police issued defect notice, and they kindly told me they dont do appointments, and i would just have to go down and see what happens, no guarantees they would look at it there and then. no wonder qld police are getting a bad name.
  19. they def seem to be diff between S1 and S2. the S1 seems to have two rows, where as the S2 is just one smaller bar running right in behind the std bar, cant be seen by looking straight at it or fromt the top. i had to get down on my back and shine a torch up to see it yeh suss out what the go is with ur mates, but i cant see where mine has been cut anywhere, and the cooler is on a slight angle

  24. well well. what can I say. after searching many many threads, in many many forums I came across a DIY fmic install on a s2 r33. i then decided to go do what the police offer did not, and actually have a look for this "metal bar" that had been "removed". and it actually is still there, and given the fmic I have, the bar isnt even cut. so all I need to worry about is sorting the vented side of my BOV. yay. i knew something wasnt right. anywho. all good
  25. i know being at the spit isnt why I got i got defected so that bar in the pic you put up, is that what I should see if I remove my front bar? I need to go look at a std 33 hey. im not saying for sure he is making it up, he must have some grounds for issueing a defect, but I jus cant see where it would go
