Hey all was out and about spitting it today when I was pulled over the by the boys in blue, or should I say, the boys in their bacl xr6 sedan with ford sticker on windscreen and frangipannies flowers on rear window. Anywho, got the general defect notice for a BOV not being plumbed back, its a dual port, one side is plumbed, other was vented today, no big deal. then he also notes on the defect sheet that i have had the "front metal bar removed to allow fitting of an intercooler". i was like, "ok?". when got home I was having a look around the front of my car to see what he was smoking, and could not work out what he is on about. I looked at my mates silva with std front bar, and i notice no difference at all. FMIC is in same location as it would be if std bar was fitted to my car, there are no cut marks or anything. FMIC was professionly fitted. there is nothing that has been cut or anything. Was this cop just making something up to get me for cos everything else is legal, or is he being legit?

Hey Guys I am selling a BRAND NEW silicon intake pipe that I bought for my R33. It is one of the Race Spec ones, and is a BLACK one. They are a direct replacement for the factory rubber wired pipe, and include the holes for the pollution gear to fit upto. We all know much they are new. Im after at least $100 Reason for selling is that I have had a custom s/steel pipe made up to fit the fat 4 inch intake on my new turbo. Location is Loganholme. PM or reply if your interested. well its not looking good for the weekend car is at Predator now getting exhaust done, but I am waiting on an intake pipe to arrive. I am flying to sydney tomorrow arvo and wont be back till 7:30 Friday night, and I need to get the pipe to the shop so they can fit it up. So I guess I'll be seeing you guys next weekend if anything is happening, but im pretty sure I'll be so happy about having the car back on the road that i'll be driving it down the driveway to check the mail I miss it that much, hahahaha

yeh its internally gated guys. got it from Predator. car is going there tomrrow for the dump pipe, so hopefully tomorrow night I will sleep easy

pistons and rods aside, what mods have you got to make that power? thats what im aiming for. My turbo has a .82 rear housing, other mods so far are only FMIC, exhaust and air filter. I plan on getting a microtech and some bigger injectors soon enough....

Hey everyone Car is just about ready to get back on the streets after 3 weeks off. The stock turbo decided to let go on me up Mt Coot-tha on the skyline cruise that weekend and I had to nurse it home. It didnt really bother me at the time as it was the exhaust wheel that decintegrated so my cat copped the brunt of it, and not the engine internals. With the help of my housemate (thanks Kev), a brand spankin new Garrett GT3076 is fitted and the car is ready to be towed to Predator to get custom dump and intake pipes made up for the 'larger' huffer hanging off my RB25. So yeh, I cant wait to get it back on the road and feel the kick of the new turbo spooling up big time. Just thought I would share with you all

hey bud, you can actually get QLD transport to give you the address the car is registered at. as my parents had this happen and they got the rego, and qld tpt gave them the address and name of the person it was registered to

hey guys thanks for all your input. i have ordered the GT3076, and its costing $1900 delivered, which I believe to be quite a good price. if all goes to plan i will be recommending the guys at Predator Motor sport for sure. always makes one feel better walking into a showroom and seeing a fully bombed skyline sittin there with all the right gear. makes me wonder what i would do with 40K hahaha will post updated info once i get it put in and throw it on the dyno

turbo price seemed pretty good compared to what other companies are quoting. Looks like a good workshop too

sweet as. I'm going to see Matt at Predator Motor Sport tomorrow, will run the 3076 and 3082 past him and see what the go is. Both same price pretty much, guess one is just gonna have a few hundred more RPM of lag. cheers
