Power FC is good, but Haltec is better in most ways. Hower from reading this forum and my own experiance Haltech do tend to be a little picky if you have electrical issues (one unit will work fine in one car but in another it can become more difficult). I would not buy a power FC if you want to remove AFM's though. The basic model does not allow it and the dejetro can apparently be a pain to tune and costs as much as a new Haltech/Vipec.

He's running a stock N/A, utter overkill and he doesn't need it stiff and hard, just a normal clutch feel. Any of the heavy duty organic clutches should be fine. Jim berry clutch's are also very good as he cutom makes it to what you need, but again over kill for what you need. Exedy will be fine, don;t get sucked into the button plate, no need for a N/A.

As comparison mine ran around 5-15 and up to 30 really pushing it. That knock is just not right for a good engine and tune without any load.Either the engine is bad or the tune is, which one has changed recently?

Really only $3k for a rebuild? What about time to take the engine in and out? ESP quoted about $6K awhile back for an RB26 (freshen up), all new seals etc. Not that ESP was ever the cheapest but might give you another idea. Add another $10k and you could get a full stroker rebuild :-) For a GTST, drop in a RB26, 250kw all day.

For those who have done this before, how does the session work? with assumption of only getting 7 min sessions? based on 50 min session 7 groups = 7 min ?? what about time to clear track? Also 38psi minium on cold tyres?
