  1. Good on you for taking her out Kat (and Ross). Great to see you get a flat 12. Showes how much a bit of experiance and a good launch can make 12.7 down to 12.0 Thanks for the pics
  2. Dam it, totally forgot about it. What times did people get?
  3. If only they had thermostats
  4. These look great and cheap. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/18...-s-t330503.html
  5. Going to Adelaide earlier and later, can't get more time off
  6. There older SSR's fit nearly any size brakes Similar wheels currently being made http://www.ssr-wheels.com/wheels/typec_171819.asp Or a slightly different look suitable for R35 GTR's http://www.ssr-wheels.com/wheels/werfen_181920.asp
  7. Yep more info on the GTR needed.
  8. I'll be out a bit later
  9. Looking forward to seeing the build. There was only 2 cars that went past me when 1 & 2 combined and yours was by far the fastest. Great looking car as well. I do love the video posted that shows the sole time I overtook you though
  10. The R33 GTR coming off the track at the end of the video. I've paid for the DVD so should have a few shots
  11. I was sure if I came off the track enough times at last I'd get 1 photo or video shot . Silver skylines never seem to attract the photos.
  12. I'm keen
  13. From other threads and from a friend of mine, don't bother.
  14. Interesting, probably wait till I can wear out my current 17's.
  15. I was initially worried about the wear shown here, but it turned out to be just the brake pads wearing off onto the rotars. I see others posting about good fuel consumption, but I ended up with 40l/100km on the track with stock injectors/fuel pump and AFM's. Is this normal? I should post a thanks for Reece who gave me a couple of pointers on the day. Helped me shave off another couple of seconds.
  16. It certainly looked very impressive going down the main straight, and only uber power cars do so. But I don't remember seeing it much after the first session.
  17. Yeah great day had. Thanks to those who put on the day, it was a very safe, friendly environment (except not being allowed on pit wall by the track owners). Happy to give lifts to randoms who jumped in the car on the start line :-) Also happy to get times down to 1.11.1 I was never going to let a Reno beat a GTR around the track
  18. Great to see you can make it Mark.
  19. I will LEAVING the servo on the corner of the Federal Highway and Antil Street at 7am-7.10am taking the boring route to Goulbourne to arrive at 8am at Wakefield to get some good shed positions and put the ACT Banner up. Then get an early scruitineering done and be ready for the drivers breifing at 8.45am. It would be great if we all got up together.
  20. Instructing was more for my GF :-) Yes missed last lap time was with 595SS tyres , and post related to "IF" I started getting substantially better times.
  21. Seeing as there are several SAU ACTers going up, is anyone interested in traveling up together?
  22. Probably tripple your age and only 2.5 times your power
  23. Nothing real :-) but if I get to the point that I'm lapping everyone I'd love a go in the faster group. We will see on the day and as the organisors say they will move people if they see a need to redo the groups. I'll be instructing anyway for the first couple sessions.
