  1. Yes I'll probably be out
  2. One could be cynical and say it could not pass the ACT rego, hence the sale. But I'm not cynical Looks a nice car. What are you replacing it with?
  3. And some random guy might have an R34
  4. Shell, Steddy Eddy, all I can thin off off the top of my head with these cars.
  5. 1. Michele 2. Mark (Tuk Tuk) 3. Jeno (Tarmac) 4. David (Raps86) 5. a20089
  6. Well I can tell you're outgoing, great to see. We look forward to you getting your Skyline. Some of the cars on this forum are much better cared for then some others out there, and we can call peoples bluffs here to some extent, so you can buy with some confidence. You can get your skyline to a racing standard without it being illegal on the road. I've tracked mine and attended Cams events while still being a road car so don't be affraid to track it up. As for the car, everyone recomends a Manual and Turbo, and if you have the money a GTR. R32 is the classic, light weight anglur form. R33 the car with curves, has probably the most long lasting looks, but pick on what you like R34 The updated classic look Depending in your budget R34 GTT will have few problems, or if you like track cars, a well looked after R32/33 GTR.

More likely the no car displays on grass rules.
  11. Donnon does an awesome job on black cars, but I think he only does his own

    This link should work http://www.actmotorclubs.org.au/index.cfm?...86D4779D650AF55
  14. You made mention of uninformed generalist garbage in your first post. But you seem to have backed up what was generally being said in a general way. I'd rather more police targeting those who harm others, rather then revenue raising. But yes I'd love more MARKED patrols then revenue raisers. PS what does PTU stand for?
  15. Ahh.. Shell why do you never see me? We nearly live next to each other.
  16. As is most of the information in the world, based on past experiance and scuttlebut. As Trozzle said, put up or shut up. We love to be corrected by facts, please supply them.
  17. Ahh yes the old protective service became part of the AFP, they renamed to the Uniform Protection Officers within the AFP.
  18. I'm now at 3 people
  19. Ummm... what state are you living in???? Since when did the ACT have ACT police, they were all federal last time I checked.... http://www.afp.gov.au/act.html
  20. By the sound of the thunder and rain, I think it's a good night to be indoors
  21. I think I can make it, 2 maybe's at the moment.
  22. Not a bad idea if done right. Assuming done right you could possibly catch the people responsible, but to what level of risk? Who would be willing to put their car in front of another car trying to get away? If they pulled knives would you know what to do, I have some basic training but most the people in our group are probably not the physical type. Now assuming you can catch them, what do you do with them? Take them to police? If any charges stuck, they would get a slap on the hand by the courts. At the risk of being charged yourself by the ever so helpful police. If you handle it yourself what do you do bash them up? Then they take you to court and you end up in jail. Jail to you is a lot worse then jail to them. There's an old saying dead men tell no tales. I doubt you are willing to take this measure. So we all hide our nice cars from the hole this world has become. You can blame the Governments wanting to control their charges reinforcing the appathetic nature of the community for this, but thats another topic entirly.
  23. Will keep an eye out.
  24. They race a "fully" preped skyline at the hillclimb. Most of our guys were faster.
  25. Because they don't want to get SAU in trouble for slander.
