  1. I can say DON'T go with A&J bathrooms. Very unprofessional, even ended up with asbestos laying over my house.
  2. New ghey track as well. GP circuit all the way. (if you can afford it)
  3. 22nd September for me. Booked and paid with the HSV club. Power V Finesse.
  4. which is not inconsistent with my comment shell. Nothing wrong with an event selling out. Anyone can pre-poll, it saves a lot of time on the day.
  5. What about the Sep 7th James? Saturday, heaps of other types of cars for interesting overtaking.
  6. And having to read the members only area regularly, it wasn't even listed in the events area. Last thing I heard it was planned for Wakefield and info was coming.
  7. Lots of flames You should have been there, I even took a young lad around the track in the car doing a 44.1 time. Seemed impressed, even when we were sliding off the track and hitting a cone.
  8. Done for you Sin. Wish the lap timer worked for more then just the start of the day.
  9. It turned out to be a great day. Plenty of track time, only 3 on track at a time for most classes. Skyline for the outright win on the day with likely a Pulsar coming second.
  10. True, but it's been done to probably 50% of us in Japan already. Always look at the condition of the whole car.
  11. The driver training circuit. http://mdtc.com.au/ Particular event is the 72-82 Ford V8 and cobra track day. Even a NA skyline should be able to keep up on that small track. Only 6 cars on at a time.
  12. Going to Marulan Saturday. Talked to the organiser and they are really looking for extra cars if anyone wants to turn up.
  13. Looks in good condition externally. Buy a new dash.
  14. I'm not sure I said that exactly. Policing of existing rules should exist, they are good rules. I was against arbitrary rule changes that banned all comments as the OP seemed to indicate. I agree with Terry_GT-R34's comments. I can understand those that cause deliberate trouble "trolls". But I can easily change my IP, even appear out of state if needed, the moderators will still need to action anyone that returns and causes trouble. So you would consider a $5 review fee, and if I am right the moderator who placed the "warn" has to pay me $5? I don't see anyone else complaining for years about a single "warn". Most know me that attend track days and we have personally met. I'm not here to "troll", learn & debate sure. Would the response differ if I threatened to take legal action over my good name. After all, all Moderators and admin can see I have done "wrong" also everyone has access to this thread and can see I'm such a bad person in trying to clear my name. Open forum is the only such way I can request review as Moderators/Admin have no interest in reviewing via PM as you have confirmed. Try putting yourself in the situation, Someone says you ran the SAU Nationals in a dangerous way, it's a lie, they only reported you to other track owners, you have no right of reply, the track owners just accept your dangerous ways and are not willing to review the matter, your only option is to appeal to the masses but by doing so you are letting them all know you have been accused and assumed guilty.
  15. Thanks. Putting in a report on the actual PM was crashing the whole site. Starting with an A I probably get the spammers first.
  16. Seems to be pm'ing from A onwards. Maybe what is causing the site to crash
  17. Anyone going out? location?
  18. I'll chip in James as well. But only for expendables, Can't be paying for your go fast mods when I can't afford my own Post some in car vids of the day if allowed.
  19. Still waiting on review of my one and only warn from 2 1/2 years ago. Upgraded forums, now converted to a point system, still there. Moderators undertake a required role and most are respected, I've been there and done that. But on this occasion, as Sir Jimmy says "Pack of bastards"
  20. Highest on the day seemed to be a falcon about 335kw, then a STi at 325kw then a GTR at 300kw. Might have been some late entries but nothing big KW.
  21. Thank you for the clarification Herb, it also makes it a lot easier on everyone ordering direct with the code you obtained. I really wanted a new side window, but I'm not going to risk non ADR on essentially a road car.
  22. Hi Herb, Thank you for bring this to our attention. I'll ask here so everyone can see the response as I had a few basic questions anyone would need to know 1. The kits appear to be in the UK, surely they could be direct shipped to interstate buyers? Or are you receiving all purchases and looking after the import tax then sending out? 2. Do they meet ADR for street cars? 3. Paying you or the company? 4. Can you confirm the "full kit" does not include a windscreen, just side windows and rear window. 5. What is the maximum cost of shipping to Australia?
  23. Would not just placing a near stock RB26 in the bay be easier and cheaper then rebuilding a smaller engine to make excessive power? Still have the oil issues I guess, but the occasional track and drag probably does not need the oil issues to be solved. Mine is totally stock and I still manage to chase Duncan's race car around the track successfully (When someone else is driving), and mine has not had any major oiling issues. Stock engine are made with big tolerances, once you get to rebuilding engines, well nearly everyone has or knows someone with a bad experience.
  24. bloody good price then
  25. So does this include all import payments? Last time I imported it was 5% import duty then 10% GST on top of that, making a $3000 purchase $3465 delivered.
