  1. Great concept, unfortunatly I'm booked.
  2. Already booked the day off...to go to Melbourne
  3. Probably saw the GTR and Blonde combo. Just couldn't help themselves.
  4. Double demerrits double fine? There's certainly more too it then just speeding 22 over.
  5. Great pics, wish I could have been there.
  6. Spotted Blue R34 GTR vspec II Black R34 "NUR" Lots of other skylines as well :-)
  7. I might now tonight unless it stops raining.
  8. I think It's only fair I chase Mark's personal record in the GTR, rather then the open wheeler
  9. Great work Michele, I've just had CAMS give me my licence, lined up a couple new tyres and as soon as trojan gve the GTR a clean bill of health I'm coming after Mark's record.
  10. What is the size of the tyres? brand, condition?
  11. Chasing a single Pilot sport mk1 (directional tread) or two other second hand tyres in 265/40/18. no I don't want a 35 profile. I don't mind paying shipping as long as the price is reasonable.
  12. For that price it's worth being a member. Link seems broken? I have prior commitment so can not attend. But the 27th April looks good for me with official timing.
  13. I would think there is a limited chance of getting min 15 people over Easter in shich a short time frame. Being thicker, what modifications need to be done to the car to fit? Is it custom designed for the R33 GTR? Standard fittings for tubing etc? A link to the website if available?
  14. Threat? or thread. the OP seems to have dropped of the face of the forums.
  15. I hope you reported them at the time. There seems to be so many GTS-t skylines getting around their beginning to get the same rep they have in Sydney.
  16. A GTR family, how cool. I park their occationally as well but never had any trouble before. Many people have said the FX factory in the past. Not too cheap though.
  17. Just got around to counting the cash we made from drink sales. There was $47 and some cents. That makes the kitty $167 and a lot of silver coinage I don't want to count tonight.
  18. Great find Michele. Who has the 44 gallon drums?
  19. A huge thanks to everyone that turned up. The row of 32 and 33 GTRs looked great, the biggest lineup of GTRs that I've ever seen the Canberra. It was great the R31 club added to the display for an extra couple of generations. A great turn out by the GTS/Ts as well. The lines were so long Bec could not get a photo that did them all justice. The day was perfectly balanced by the trio of silver GTRs which half the attendees drooled over. It would have been better to have the silver R32 GTR there, but we just didn't have room in the end. I'd like to pass on my special thanks to Julian for his immaculate and different R32 that attracted a lot of attention, Jon in the other blue GTR first time attendee and Bob with the 34 and 35 GTRs. It was great to see Donnon take a lead on the day and organise the display, despite having to move the cars several times and take down tent poles etc they ended up picture perfect. Thanks to Mic for bringing the (Federal tyres) tent, the shade is essential and really is the focal point of the day and makes it a lot more enjoyable. Due to the space limitations etc some have suggested organising the club to be located where the SDMA club is located next year. (if we have a next year) All we need to do is discuss with the organising club.
  20. Congrats on the bub and we certainly took enougth photos for everyone.
  21. We had a thread a little while ago about the number of people laid off or potentially excess. For those interested I may have one or more jobs coming up shortly in my area. This is not a cushy public service job and some from external jobs have left because they can't keep up. If you like to be constantly working this may suit you. Attention to detail is a must and the willingness to do anything that needs doing is a big need. I coined a phrase recently "If I can't trust someone to do the filing, I'm sure as hell not going to trust them to do the accounts" Saying that we are not looking for someone who is only capable of filing, but has the capacity to learn and take on some of the responsibilities of the overloaded management team. In summary a motivated, hard worker willing to do any administration tasks, who can take on responsibility with a strong attention to detail. If anyone has asset or procurement experience, particularly under the FMA act that would be a big bonus. But if you just want a start in the PS to see how it works this is a great opportunity. The pay is about $43K - $66K + superannuation etc, depending on experience and other factors. It sounds like a tough job and it is one of the more challenging I've had, but the team is great and there is the possibility of being made permanent. If interested please PM me your interest and I'll give you an email to send your CV/Resume's to.
  22. Canned softdrinks will be available with all proceeds going to SAU ACT. Bring water, hats, sunscreen and a chair.
  23. Import = expensive to repair, and if the diff is stuffed I think you're better getting the money then a repaired car. If anyone sees their CONFIRMED stolen car PM me if they want assistance. If you want the cops, tell them you've got a gun and you're going to kill them. They will turn up then.
  24. Great result Michele. Will be be seeing Mark no.2 with you in the GTR?
