This thread can assist. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Me...ml#entry3529122 1. The very best way to determine if your car is a v-Spec is to check on the Vin number on the following thread http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ni...&start=1060 2. NO flames yet :-) Any hint of the price for the engine, then the fitment, then possible the twin turbos just so you get the power you need.

Lenso Samurai Wheel Packages - $$sale$$
a20089 replied to Taleb Tyres's topic in For Sale (Business Traders)
I don't see anything that fits a GTR on your entire website. largest 17 or 18" is 8.5inch. -
Too much of some colour there, I was going to say too much red but then maybe green when you look at the back ground. Then I gave up. So who's going out tonight? They are predicting bad weather but I'm thinking not. I'll be out there for a little while.

Old news does the anouncement mean they finally have the showroom up and running :-)
-
Sounds like a nice drive, shame I had the moving truck booked for the day. Next time.

I'll probably be out soon

OK looked at the rules and I sure don't want to put a roll cage in the car at this point in time. There's a non competative part where you can drive "non preped" cars, what is that all about?

R33 Gtr Rims - White! - !sold!
a20089 replied to nisskid's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
No one will buy second hand rims sight unseen, you may as well put pics up. Sounds like you are just about to put tyres on them? why not wait and sell them without tyres so people can put the tyres that they want on? ie. If I wanted them I would want the same sized tyres front and rear and probably race spec tyres. -
Go see a mechanic about your idle :-) Yes my ABS light came on once when I stalled her (shock horror, happens with a race clutch) No idea on the diff damage.
-
If the same car then we can confirm the dyno reading then :-) http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Dy...html&st=100 R33 GTR Car yard 203.5kw Your car as per last time I saw it had pod filters and an exhaust but little else. Very nice interior. Now prepare yourself for some big $'s if modifying and doing the real deal. See how much money you have left after paying for fuel, insurance and tyres :-)

If people started turning up earlier, say at say 9pm I wouldn't complain.

HI Paul, What better than to show everyone the unit installed. Note the unit was installed straight but has subsequently moved (will fix later) The bling of the LED clearly showed which setting the switch was on, no real need for it. As you can see it's a far bigger switch than stock. I guess the unit was too good for a forum member. I'd organise a group buy when you get the drag version done and do both :-). I've never had a problem with the GTR's front to rear traction, it just would have been nice to have the control.

We'll keep and eye out.

Hi Line, Welcome to Skylines Australia (Canberra region) There seems to be a little miss information here about your car which I'll try to clear up. FYI I own a R33 GTR as well. Your car sounds a lot like the NSW plated NIS67R that came to our dyno day, last owned by a person working in Civic. We'd all love to see the car one Friday. 1. The very best way to determine if your car is a v-Spec is to check on the Vin number on the following thread http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ni...&start=1060 2. Tell tail signs are: Vspec has active LSD (a yellow light in the dash) Vpsec has the faster attesa computer 1/1000th of a second rather than 1/100th (not visually noticable) Vspec has stiffer suspension stock 10mm lower (not visably noticable) 10kg more weight (not visably noticable) A Vspec sticker Air difusers for the front brakes Slightly better ABS (not visually noticable) finned rear diff Note: Brembo's were fitted to all R33 GTR's Tyres: As for tyres I'm running the older school Federal 595 SS's and they didn't come up to my standards in the wet, when warmed up a bit they were fine. I'm running a 255 size. I'f your just running around town they are all right and the BEST price bang for buck around. Not sure on my next tyre choice, probably Federal's since Mick's such a nice guy, but I know I want a set of 595 RS semi slicks for the track. See modification for the best enhancements for grip in any weather. Modifications: Mods depend on many factors, including your budget ,desire for the car and fear of being defected. The single best mod I've made is a torque computer as this link describes: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Gt...nt-t126694.html I've gone through the "fun" of some upgrades and have some good and bad stories to tell, and what I would do differently. That would take too long in this thread but come out to the Museum one night when I'm there and I'll tell all...

That is a guy working there (from sydney I believe)

So this is the 4th "test" GPS that your work has given you, just from looking at your last post.

So what pads did you end up getting? Here's another article on my type of pads. http://www.ebcbrakes.com/Assets/vwdriverarticle.pdf I've heard good stuff about the QFM stuff but that was from the owner, so it might be a little bit biased.

What Would A Jeremy Clarkson Review Of My Car Be Like?
a20089 replied to pontiff's topic in General Automotive Discussion
That was excellent. -
$10 says the one I thought was an off colour purple :-) The one with a chick in it and no driver. Possible the one with the resonator coming out at a funny angle.
