  1. Saw glenieboy today in Kambah.
  2. Yes I've got the EBC yellow's front and rear. I can not fault them at the moment. They are however a bit on the dusty side but apart from that they seem great. Compare the differences between the EBC pads on their own website http://www.ebcbrakes.com/yellowstuffinfo.html Pay particular attention to the cold effectiveness compared to the reds, important particularly in Canberra winter. If you want them I'd get them from overseas, Australia wanted $300 a set on a group buy, I got front and rear with shipping from America for $300 and I could have got them cheaper. (GTR brembo pads)
  3. Speaking of, looks like a nice drug bust on the parkway just off the woden connection. White VN commo with boot poped and a heap of what looked like drug enforcement cars.
  4. There's several threads in the motorsport section that cover this. I normally take: A good attitude, be there to have SAFE fun. Food, track food is expensive and often tasteless Water, you will sweat if you are trying your hardest Pen and paper to record your best times Money for Wakefield licence, photo's, food etc Your drivers licence Clothing: Long sleeve shirt, prevents sunburn and is needed for legalities Helmet Enclosed shoes, runners Enclosed pants, jeans work fine. Sunnies, turn that last corner and get blinded by the sun, not so good. Your car, with new oil and car checked all over by yourself or mechanic recently (no good turning up paying money and your car gets knocked back for unsafe car) Engine Oil, RB's use oil around the track and turbo's like oil. Tyre pressure kit, at least a gauge, a pump if possible. Tyre changing gear
  5. I'll take it and donate to the cause... unless someone has a family that can use the 2 kids.
  6. I'd love to go a for a cruise using the same route and approximate time that you as an individual are going. Somewhere down to the bay for fish and chips sounds good. Assuming the car is running, day doesn't matter at this time.
  7. Good ideas Donnon, I'm waiting back from 5th gear on how they would like to structure the day. My idea to make sure we get numbers was to run it as a Nissan V Toyota day, to keep the competition feel. Ross in the ACT supra club is keen to run 3 events (Track, Drag, Dyno) over the year, and I think this is a good idea (dyno day with two clubs ensure plenty of numbers). Dereck has worked with several clubs and with him running the day I believe they would be more inclinded to attend. As for other clubs we have SAU NSW SAU VIC 300zx Nissan Sports car club Nissan Silvia Mr2 (quite an active club it appears) Canberra Celica's Supra NSW Supra VIC Obviously ringin's would be welcome if we were looking for numbers, and being a first event of this type I expect we will need them.
  8. Yep, Pics and Rego really help, at least a description. We found the R31 that was stolen well before the police.
  9. Must be thousands of them. Shipping to ACT.
  10. Maybe we could have a list like a trader rating system for each company, like Trogen (8/10) Croydon (3/10) with comments. As said every business has a bad experiace with one customer, but the rating system would not allow a single business bad rep from only one reply. I haven't found a place I'm 100% impressed with but at least Trogan do their best.
  11. Obviously an SS by the sig.
  12. I don't know what Mark does with those photo's but he can turn an unwashed car into a showpiece. (not saying the 31 was unwashed, but mine certainly was a couple Friday's ago)
  13. Please no personal attacks about prices. For $1600 I'd be stupid for not taking them, even if I don't like the gold look.
  14. Some pics from the day Some other cars A V12 BMW as discussed recently Twin? Turbo V8 Celica My next paint job The reply to the kissing shot of tuk tuk
  15. A geat day out. Thanks to everyone who turned up and made the day such a success. Special thanks to: Cejay for organising everything Bullet32 for bringing the tent, tyres and T-shirts Shell and NSW SAU for the flag and everyone who brought chairs Great day.
  16. At least this time it was the GF
  17. Then yours is abysmally low!
  18. Yes I've used them for eactly the same reasons, long distance from any other area etc. I found the engine inspections was good, but he said the interior was excellent when I considered it to be very average. The owner also said he seemed more interested in driving the car than inspecting it, but it was a GTR and the owner was an old guy who babyed it.
  19. Looks like Friday nights are picking up again. Looking faroward to Soccer one night, even though I can't play to save my self.
  20. A big thanks to Donnan and Ladybytes for organising this. Bec and I had a great time and the car is looking so shiny you could mistake it for a leo. Cheers
