    R35 Engines?

This is not a stupid question. Why spend $30K building a engine up when you can purchase one with warranty, better fuel economy, EPA approval etc. Also think about how much potential it had to be modded after the warranty ran out :-)
  3. What is the problem with the GTR? Back support in the seat? Fuel economy? mechanical issues?
  4. Got mine redelivered today. Bloody heavy things rotors are, I'm glad I didn't buy the rear ones at the same time else next door would never have lifted them :-)
  5. Good to see the skyline community able to answer that one so well.
  6. Debt A must see for those who think money is made by the mint. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-9050474362583451279
  7. I've still got no brakes and since the weather has been so bad I haven't bothered. Brakes get put in this weekend
  8. that sux. Good luck with finding it.
  9. Not bad, same time as my GTR on it's first outing. So need better tyres. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=T2R06ZA2 I drove an Evo8 when deciding on buying my GTR and I agree with most thats been said. As an everyday fast car with 4 doors, being newer more realiable and being sold in Australia having more insurance options, it would be the logical choice. However I found the EVO had a worse ride around town than the GTR. Around small roundabouts there wasn't much that could touch it. Saying that, it's a box. No style. Whats the point of having a car to go from point A to B. Drive in style.
  10. Looks like is sucks, literally. That hole in the front.... Hatches don't do it for me.
  11. Welcome, good to get more people in Canberra posting on the forums. The come to the skid pan day (if there is room left) and Marques in the park. Lots of people to meet and cars to look at.
  12. I'm hoping the car is good for the track by then. Still it would be interesting to try out the new 4wd controller I just got today.
  13. Tempting, very tempting. I'm not keen on the design but I am after some 18*10 for track work.
  14. http://www.fifthgear.com.au/ Contact this person in Canberra (between Adelaide and Sydney) he will hire you his Skyline GTR and take you to a racetrack to learn how to go fast. While you are at it, have a look at the Capital of Australia. Lots of free tourist attractions.
  15. Pics please including the bracket
  16. Same here sent many weeks ago with several PM's no response. However Prank did respond to questions about site slowness so he's around. Does the bank account still work, do the features of the donation no longer exist, is there enough sponsorship so donations are no longer needed?
  17. Good luck. Rules I remember Don't lean on the walls Don't volunteer for anything Don't take all that stuff they tell you to take, just some trousers, shoes and shirt. You WILL be issued with anything you need. You will need to CARRY your luggage everywhere with you, don't take bags with wheels you will carry them anyway. Don't get caught with the girls Do go to Sunday Church, gets you out of cleaning and the only place for getting wine. Don't say you were part of any cadets etc Gezz there's a million more, you'll find out soon.
  18. While the site isn't a speed demon, it seems to be running better these days.
