  1. All people replied too. Nextmod, thanks for the offer, bit late for me but I'm sure I could do with more stuff :-) Pulling out of the night is only acceptable with a doctors certificate
  2. Careful driving has limited my impacts with wildlife 2 birds 1 bat (found on the radiator) 1 very close call with a duck 1 very close call with a roo 1 very close call with an ugly blonde late one friday (well I counted her as wildlife)
  3. Probably a good thing to discuss on the 4th
  4. If there's a small car track you've just done it. Surprised the EVO didn't win it. Congrats
  5. Appreciate any offers of fold up chairs. Better to have them then not.
  6. I could not find any 2530's, most people said they were no longer made. Didn't even consider t517's never heard of them. Yep fitting prices from $1200 to $2500 for me with most around $1500. Duncan’s controllers allow you to choose from 10 settings from 100% rear drive to max available front torque, that is all his thread claims. There is another controller on the forums from a guy in QLD for $600 that allows you instantly control of how much power is going to the front on cornering. That is probably my next purchase. If you are willing to wait I’ll review it. Hey OzLeroy, why the D-Jetro? I’ve been informed by serval sources that the D-Jetro version of the PFC is designed for single throttle bodied engines only. It will work fine, but the tuning will probably never be perfectly smooth. Great post Scooby, I’d probably go for the Garrett 2860R-5 as a turbo choice over the 2860R-7 or GTSS as I’ve just put the -5's in. They seem to boost up exactly like the original turbo’s but make much more power. I’m only pumping out 265kw with current settings but they are very capable of doing 100kw more. In saying that, 300kw limit with the HKS GTSS and possibly a quicker spool up time is still great, I just could not see the proof of the lower spool up times in the turbo upgrade thread.
  7. Dam it sounded like a good night out. If only Croydon hadn't stuffed around with my car and took an extra week to fix it.
  8. All members replied too. Looks like I'll have to borrow a couple of extra chairs, it will be great.
  9. Sorry the corvette still has my vote. Curves not just muscle.
  10. Out of Telstra and Transact I'm taking Transact.
  11. I'm going to be at Sexpo and Croyden, possibly not in that order.
  12. HICAS - wouldn't remove it unless you find it hinders your driving. Cam gears are a good idea, no ideas on price. Power FC and tune great, might find it costs $1400 for an "Australian" delivered version or wait weeks from other stores. Electronic boost controllers are great if pushing more than 1 bar/14.9 PSI $500 will get a cheap one plus fitting costs. Oil cooler and filter relocation are great improvements if you do track work or service the car yourself, remember to get a thermostat controlled one in Canberra else your oil temp will never raise to operating temperature doing general driving in winter. about $1500 installed Injectors and fuel pump if chasing more than 300rwkw, $1700 I was recently quoted but the fuel pump fitted $700 seemed a bit pricy to me Not bad on the prices GTR32GUS For the RDA buy, just look in the group buys section in the forum, it stands out somewhat
  13. Wow software that does not even let you reinstall it on the same PC. Even Microsoft isn't that barbarian. With a mean time between failure of 4 years for an average PC, thats going to be an expensive PC crash when it happens.
  14. Any specials on tyres to suit a GTR 255/17/40 or 265/17/40
  15. Just a thanks to chris's help, good prices too.
  16. That's nothing you should see the parkway heading home at 5.30pm!
  17. Congrats on the pickup. As you've probably been told the RDA group buys are excellent value (nearly 1/2 price of what I was quited in Canberra, which was way above retail) Jim from Brisbane does make a good clutch, I've got one. The GTSS turbo's are great turbo's if you are going to limit the car to 300rwkw, I went the 2860R-5's and should have the results back this weekend (should have been last weekend) thanks Croydon, they can make it up in the bill. Other mods to consider Boost controller New ECU 100K service, replace belts etc SK's suspension kit new cams adjustable traction control injectors-fuel pump and a gold GTR key found in the group buys Well that's my current wish list
  18. bunson (as in bunson burner)
  19. Everyone posting in the thread has or will in the next 30 mins get the address. Cheers Jon
  20. You sure heard some wild rumours. Also Lightly modded GTST's are already being thrashed off the line by lightly modded XR6T's. Driven a liughtly modded F6 and loved it. Still nothing compared to my GTR
