  2. Sold JD, if you can bring them around my place someone time.
  3. +2 And roll your guards if needed.
  4. It saves people time and effort, and shows the seller is keen to sell. Also I don't want to spend more money phoning/smsing a mobile when the info should be provided in the first place. Not saying there is anything wrong with the thread but, a brand new seller, is selling an expensive item, without pics that can be open to review. Risky if you are the buyer. The offset is probably useless for me, but awaiting confirmation and pics.
  5. So you have an extra $100 you didn't need to donate to the government, but not say $150-300 for the required transfer process.... Not knocking you for the losing of paperwork. Anyway look in your WTB request someone has a head for you.
  6. Worth looking at prices at costo, but get a real tyre shop to match the price (they can and do a better job).
  7. looks to be in canberra
  8. Welcome to skyline ownership. Really... purchasing a car knowing you didn't have enougth money for 3% stamp duty, driving it without any insurance and now it needs a rebuild? Hope you saved up for the fine for the transfer over 14 days as well. So was being a dick losing the papers or the whole process. Lessons for the young there. Wish you better luck in the future.
  9. Trojan say they have good success with guard rolls, but it does take time to heat correctly and there's still not 100% without damage to the paint.
  10. asymmetric tyre is a good idea as you can change the tyres around easier.
  11. 220-240kw R33 gtr, daily driver. On the same car with 266kw of power I found the standard 595's too hard and slippery in the wet. The 595 RS-R's were actually far grippier in dry or wet even when cold and lasted for a good length of time. 595 if you have no money, 595 RS-R for safer driving (they are not real semi slicks). But hey upgrading from the base 595's to the RS-R's shows you a huge difference.
  12. As per the other thread you started, pics, location, condition.
  13. Adam, Pics, location, condition. The basics please.
  14. Angie moved on. I'm not one for gossip on particulars unless it affects my car or the service I get. Anyone a qualified mechanic want to work on skylines full time or does books and has an interest in parts maybe talk to John.
  15. yeah, Trojan is now a real one man operation. If anyone is looking a for a job, maybe head out that way.
  16. So being as you have a couple more then you need..........
  17. A cluster has been found, thank you all.
  18. 18x10.5 +15 needs tyres to be stretched or minor guard rolling. However easier to find then the 18x10 +12 I've found. Not much advantage on a race track the slightly wider wheels anyway. Would be Ok for drags.
  19. Those wheels will fit easily, same size as mine, but they will not give that flushed look. You may find that though the nuts fit you will scuff the wheels taking them on and off. I have some inner hex head nuts to resolve that problem.
  20. Well I've had a 27km'h fine droped to a warning once. I did have a 10+y clean driving record.
  21. Yep the range seems ok, 80 would probably be the ideal I think, but the oil must heat up enough that it burns the impurities. On the track mine gets up to 130+ but I normally change the oil afterwards.
  22. PM appreciated if you have a working set you're looking at selling.
  23. I'd like to say I have a couple of friends have expressed their disgust with Southern Differential. For more detail you can PM me (to avoid any problems for the forum as it was not directly me having the issues). However the issues friends had were of the worst kind you could expect from a shop.
  24. If you really want a sent of Pilot super sports, there's a couple of mobs in melbourne that can get you some. (same of the pilot sports cup's) It would be cheaper to buy from tirerack though.
