Trojan say they have good success with guard rolls, but it does take time to heat correctly and there's still not 100% without damage to the paint.

220-240kw R33 gtr, daily driver. On the same car with 266kw of power I found the standard 595's too hard and slippery in the wet. The 595 RS-R's were actually far grippier in dry or wet even when cold and lasted for a good length of time. 595 if you have no money, 595 RS-R for safer driving (they are not real semi slicks). But hey upgrading from the base 595's to the RS-R's shows you a huge difference.

18x10.5 +15 needs tyres to be stretched or minor guard rolling. However easier to find then the 18x10 +12 I've found. Not much advantage on a race track the slightly wider wheels anyway. Would be Ok for drags.

Those wheels will fit easily, same size as mine, but they will not give that flushed look. You may find that though the nuts fit you will scuff the wheels taking them on and off. I have some inner hex head nuts to resolve that problem.

Yep the range seems ok, 80 would probably be the ideal I think, but the oil must heat up enough that it burns the impurities. On the track mine gets up to 130+ but I normally change the oil afterwards.

If you really want a sent of Pilot super sports, there's a couple of mobs in melbourne that can get you some. (same of the pilot sports cup's) It would be cheaper to buy from tirerack though.
