  1. Thanks for the update I'f I'm a bit slack replying when you ask for money, just PM me. I'm not always on the forums.
  2. Near stock R33 GTR doing the drift thing. Not a problem in the world on a wet track. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...60&start=60
  3. Ahh.. Thanks for the reminder, bank details emailed to you as requested. I wasn't against waiting 3 weeks so others could get paid first, but hey thanks for keeping us informed when you can. I guess a message every couple of weeks until it's all sorted out would be great. Thanks for your efforts Emily
  4. From these responces you'd be better to get a GTR... 10l/100km highway 14l/100km city 20l/100km having fun And that was a lightly modded car
  5. What?? have we even been asked to pay yet? Ahh.. ok 2nd batch not ready yet
  6. Some good ideas please keep them comming. I am not against doing work on the engine as long as it fits within the budget, I haven't suggested RB30 conversion or the like as I would assume it would be out of my price range. Someone suggested a cam replacement for better response and possibly still within budget? As for GTSS turbo's, Garrett seem cheap in comparison to HKS, are the HKS's that much better? $2500 v $3300 for the pair. I've alos been told the HKS fit as a direct replacement much better than Garrett. Suspension work will have to wait at this stage, the biggest upgrade I'd do there first is better tyres. I don't want anything stiffer as an around town car, and as high as it is, I can barely make it into work's garage so not interest in lowering it.
  7. Gee slow response, how about comments on my first thoughs HKS 2530 turbo's (power and reliability over originals) Standard Power FC (better power delivery, fuel usage) New fuel pump (probably the first thing to need changing at 300awkw) Sump baffle (circuit type to assist oil management in corners) Extra oil return line from the head (to assist oil in the head problem when at constant high revs) electrostat fan (fan needs replacing anyway so releive the load on the engine) Boost controller of some sort (no good managing engine if you can't manage the boost) External OIl cooler (keep that oil temp at manageable levels) Remote oil filer (just for the ease of maintenance) keep as is Suspension Air filter system gear box, clutch no head work Comments on this please
  8. 96 GTR Vspec in need of some mods I want a very reliable car and I am not chasing high HP. Car is a everyday driver and does get used on the race track occasionally. I want good low and mid range response without running out of breath in the upper range. I also don't want to lose all fuel economy when not being used. Current Mods all done by CRD by previous owner (excluding clutch) Turbo back exhaust Cam Gears K&N air filter Iridium sparkplugs Spitfire coils Race clutch Unsure of 2530 or GT-SS Turbo's/ HKS or Garret?? or others Reliability mods of high importance EG oil cooler etc Power FC or others? Total price must leave enough money for the installation at a good place. Please include reasons for add-ons
  9. A2 numbers???? hahaha Trojen put mine in, seems well done.
  10. I'll try to come as well but no guarantees Great work on getting this going Donnan, didn't take long since we first discussed it.
  11. Try the basics first Hi flow air filter - cheap Irridum sparkplugs - moderate price cam gears - slightly pricy Power FC computer and tune - pricy new turbo's - very pricy Convert RB30 - Very pricy Other go fast things Full exhaust - Very pricy High quality tyres - Very pricy Use search, there's no end of upgrades.
  12. Looking forward to seeing Josh's video, if I get time I'll make a music video clip up from the raw footage. Anyway with thanks to the photographer, here's some action from the day.
  13. Show some pictures of what you plan and get a more accurate result. Some things look good digital, but it's all in the layout.
  14. Ryno sounds great but has anyone here claimed from them?
  15. Car washed 2 times and it still have that gunk attached to it. Day was great and well organised.
  16. Thank you for the reply Emily, any response is welcome. Daniel being deregistered may well account for some missing replies. If the money has not been refunded then they are trying to play us off against each other and that gets me annoyed. I was informed today that the money was refunded weeks ago, if they are lying I am willing to force the issue. Actually either way I want this at a close. Currently Ministry of Paintball is blaming Daniel fully and claiming the money is in your account. It may well be that MOP is in financial trouble and does not have the money to pay. But so far we have not seen a single bit of solid evidence supporting either side, and with Daniels past miss-information MOP currently has slightly more credibility. Constant attacks on someone who found out that Daniel was "miss-informing" the group about the status of funds originally, and then Daniel posting that there was nothing else that could be done, does not help credibility. Your recent posts seem to be blaming SAU members rather then addressing the problem. No one (well maybe no one) wants Daniel to be out of pocket, however you have not kept the group regularly informed and you have not requested assistance. As a willing group we can accomplish near anything. I can set up teleconferences with Ministry of Paintball so we can both talk to them at the same time. If MOP is playing with you, find someone that can play back. Small claims Debt collectors Police enquiries Special audits Annoying phone calls Property adjustment Government troubles Bad publicity The list goes on for possible reasons MOP may wish to assist.
  17. Small turn out but quality was high.
  18. In theory yes, heat meaning full race conditions not just a 40degree day, but do you need to spend that much if you are not racing. Most people agree you need a fully sensethic oil. The nissan manual refers to 15-35w oil. Oils have improved since the manual was made. The lower the first number "generally" means the quicker it lubricates the engine at start up (where most engine damage occurs in a daily driver). Lubrication = protection. Canberra gets real cold in winter, starting a car in sub 0 weather benefits from a lighter oil. For more details and debate on oils see the what oil should I use thread, lots of good reading. 5 litres $50 for my oil.
  19. I'll be there 8am
  20. I'm out tonight if anyone would care to join me. Particularly interested in talking to people who have paid for paintball. Cheers,
  21. Right, I'm sick of Daniel/Emily lack of responses about paintball and refunds. Ministry of Paintball has confirmed the refund was made to Emily's account some time ago. This forum has been very understanding about the lack of refunds or even reply's to PM's but enough is enough. Please answer these questions Daniel/Emily 1. Is the money secure in a bank account? 2. WHEN!! Are the people who have paid for paintball going to receive refunds? I have PM's both Emily and Daniel with this questions. I and many others would appreciate an open answer in reply.
  22. I saw Low200 at his place today, seen the car many times, nice to confirm it was his.
