lol yep we just arrived from WA and are used to a big car scene and lots of car club & forums moved up here and it is almost like someone turned back the clock 5-10yrs ahh well, spose it is about time to bring some of the happenings of 'down south' up to sunny old darwin eh? *goes off to cruise by herself*

I was watching the news the other night and there was a plea from Shenton Park Dog Refuge for warm blankets for their rescued dogs. So from 1st July to 30th July 2008 I am organising a drive for any unwanted blankets, towels etc that you are willing to part with! They can be dropped at; Brigadoon Produce (1125 Great northern Hwy, Baskerville) [Horse feed store] Horseland Madington (1868 Albany Hwy, Maddington) [between Austin Ave and Kelvin Rd] Please note that the blankets must be bagged up (ie in a garbage bag) to be accepted! i am in the process of organising a south drop off point and will update as soon as i have it confirmed. Oh and spread the word!! it would be nice to get enough blankets so that there are no little cold doggies at Shenton! (this drive was originally started for horse rugs/blankets to be donated (hence the horse store drop off's ) but im sure a few of you guys can muster up some normal blankets!)

Ive got a dead RB20det in my silvia and we are throwing in another one next week. Just a couple of questions though; It has GTR injectors in the old motor that we are wanting to swap over into the next one. Is there anything to watch out for to do this? (never done injectors before). and ive heard that the torque setting for the flywheel is about 142-152 newton meters - is this right? we've never really played with RB's before... cheers

Will tag along in the little 180... what uhf channel do you guys use?? thought no one used them anymore

we are getting about 80 wrecks a weeks coming through the gates at work, and these are two that caught my eye. just curious as to what mods they have and if they are worth bidding on when and if they come up for auction. we are getting more and more imports/performance cars through now as insurance is writing them off with sometimes only fairly minor damage. we also have a few wrx's and evo's etc in the yard so if anyone is chasing parts/motors etc let me know and i will give you a heads up when i see them getting ready to be auctioned. you'd be very suprised to see what the average wreck gets sold for here

Just wondering if anyone knew of a Burgundy R33 with skylinesaustralia.com stickers on that was recently written off? Nothing on the car that would really stand out body wise but has an after market exhaust and a big fmic, bov, etc. Also R32 4 door, white, with lots of Driftwa, tenagah, and exedy stickers on it, big fmic and coil overs, had an under bonnet fire. Just chasing any info on the cars and mods etc
