  1. Do you have the power steering pump? How much, including postage, to Canberra?
  2. I would suggest taking to someone like ESP or Trojan as they mostly deal with performance cars. If it did need to be replaced, apparently GTS-4 diffs have a better ratio for acceleration if that's what your'e into. Cheers, Donnan
  3. Pics please as well as size. 18 x what & offset, can usually be found on the rim somewhere.
  4. Hey everyone! Posting this for the Mrs as she has put together a team and will be pushing herself through the challenge next weekend. I hope there are a some of you who may have a few spare dollars to donate to this fantastic cause. Hello. HELP ME SUPPORT PEOPLE WITH MS I am taking part in the 2010 ACT Regional (Canberra) 24 Hour Mega Swim in order to raise funds for people affected by multiple sclerosis. Multiple Sclerosis is the most common disease of the central nervous system and affects over 18,000 Australians. Did you know? * The average diagnosis of MS is 30 years old. * MS affects three times as many women as men. The 24 Hour Mega Swim event raises funds for MS Australia's 'Go for Gold' Scholarship program. 'Go for Gold' scholarships are awarded to people living with Multiple Sclerosis covering a broad range of categories including education, travel, sport, music, the Arts and employment. MS Australia aims to minimise the impact of multiple sclerosis on all individuals affected by the disease, their families, carers and the community by offering a wide range of assistance, services and equipment. I am not a great swimmer, but prepared to give anything a go. So, training here I come... Also if your interested in taking part please join our team or start your own. This team is not limited to DEEWR employees. So, join up and have some fun. Please feel free to forward this on if you know someone that might like to take part or donate. http://events.megaswim.com/?mon Monica
  5. Welcome and congrats on your buy! Hope to see you at our Friday night meets and the occasional event we organise. As for your parts, there are a few jap wreckers around who should be able to help you out.
  6. Offset on the prodive rims? Can you also upload a pic of each rim to show scratches etc?
  7. The exploding pod filters are rip off from fast & furious. The whole making fun of people dying in an accident may still a little too early considering the horrific crash only a couple of weeks ago. So good on you crackhead for making fun of such a shit situation.
  8. Certinally does sound fun! Don't understand why he wants to do a Silvia nationals, he should just keep 'em all together; but a great idea non-the-less.
  9. Great work from everyone! It was really good to see that we can still have a good showing with more than 20 cars. A big thanks to John and Shell for organising the tents. Now, it is up to all of us to get anyone with a skyline more involved in events and have an even bigger collection at Marques in the Park.
  10. All right then, ready to roll at 8.30 at the boat house! Make sure you are stocked with water & sunscreen and be there early enough so we are ready to leave at 8.30. Hope you all had fun cleaning your cars; I went for a ten minute drive after the clean and it already has a layer of dust on it. Stupid black cars!
  11. A few years ago you could get rails from Recaro. Have you tried contacting them direct rather than going through a distributor? If you are looking for other options, Sparco do replacement rails; just not sure if they will match up with non-sparco seats.
  12. Hi everybody! http://www.actmotorclubs.org.au/go/shannons-wheels-2008 Wheels is only a month away and we aren't organised yet. Last year we had an awesome turn out and even had a 35 GTR! Now I know it is a big ask, but it would be great if we could actually drive in together in order. It makes life so much easier (ask John who had to move his car about 11ty billion times) and you only need to get up a bit earlier. Can anyone who is coming be at the boat ramp by 7.30 to give us some time to organise and leave by 8am sharp! Don't forget plenty of water and sunscreen! Hey Mr Federal, do you have a tent we could borrow? I have emailed the organisers to let them know we are coming, so don't let the side down! Can everyone who is coming put their name and model (car, not the one you like the most): 1- Donnan 32 GTR
  13. Hey everyone, it would seem that our Supra counterparts are well organised for the dyno day! They have laid down the challenge to see if we can get 10-15 working cars together. http://www.supraforums.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=58995 Where:ESP, Gilmore Rd, Queanbeyan When: Sunday, 06/06/10. First car on the rollers at 9am. so get there early or you might miss out! How much: Skylines $50, anything else $60 There might even be a sound off, so there will be something for everyone! The more people there the better, so even if you don't have a car you should still come along to watch and lend some support! If there is anything people can do to lend a hand, please let me know. I'll even put myself down on the list: 1- Donnan
  14. I am sure the boys at ESP would like to relax on a sunday and they said to me that they would be free any time in june. I think it would be great to have both groups there. If we can get between 20-30 cars on the dyno, I reckon it would make for a great day! But, we will have to see who is actually going to commit to having a working car....
  15. I will be organising one for some time in June at ESP. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Dy...ay-t304404.html Your car looks tops, hope we can see you there!
  16. what is the condition of the advan rims? do you have any good pics you could post?
  17. Holy crap! That sounds like be a serious bit of fun. Hope it all comes together without any last minute gremlins. You'll have to come out to show us your wares, and take me for a spin!
  18. Being the paranoid type, i got a 100k service done on mine not long after i got it. Go to somewhere with at good rep like Trojan, ESP or Autotech that actually work on skylines; not just some guy who thinks that all cars are the same. They will be able to sort out your problems and will actually know what they are talking about. Just my 2.2c (inc GST)
  19. I have spoken to Glen @ ESP and he said that June is free for a Dyno day. Can everyone check their diary and make sure that there are no important birthday/anniversary/family functions, etc and check the australian motorsport calander for any conflicting events: http://www.autosource.com.au/australian-mo...rt-calendar.php It all looks clear for now, but i am not sure if there are any other local events. The cost will be $50 for 3 runs and Glen is always happy to help people out at the end of the day to give advice on mods/fixes. We can also run a BBQ if there is enough interest. So, can anyone who wants to attend give me an idea as to which Saturday we want to go for. 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th Cheers, Donnan
  20. I will be happy to help out, i live close by and don't mind getting up early. Hey chris, pm me the details of what you did last time and i'll sort it out.
  21. should be out now that i have some electricity.
  22. Pffft, as if cops would ever defect a camry! they wouldn't even look at it twice if you put a baby seat in the back. hahahahahahahahahaha!
  23. Thought i would drag this thread up from the dreggs at the bottom of the pond because i actually have time at work to do stuff other than work! See you all tommorrow night and maybe even around the nats.
