Hey guys, I will be wondering through braddon on friday night and going to the nats on Sat. if anyone wants to join me, shoot me a PM as it is always more fun to be with like minded people than people who only like cars because they are shiny cheers Donnan

Merry Christmas everyone, i hope we all get through the season canary free. BTW Mick, that is the best Christmas card i have seen for a while.

It was a good day. Good cars, good company, no silliness and no broken cars. A big thanks to everyone who made it and an even bigger Nelson 'Ha ha!' to those who couldn't. Great work Shell!

...and he has already realised he does not know what he is going on about: http://digihub.smh.com.au/Conroy%20abandon...39;s%20freeways

Looks like I really missed out! Stupid work!! Thanks for the photos, top job everyone!!!
-
....and that means that my car looks like it was never clean! stupid weather!!!
-
I think that we should still all meet at the futsul court so we get our special stickers! once we get together, maybe 9?, we could go for a short scenic drive before the show. So, can anyone coming please get there on time so we can get the cars in order before we take off.

I like Mivec's plan. I vote for either Sunday the 13th or 20th. Any preferences??

I have been given a curfew, so I'll have to leave early as well. At least my car will be a little bit easier to clean after yesterday's event... photos to come soon.

Spotted a GTR Badge on the front and back of a Stagea! I was going to get cranky, but then i noticed a 'twin turbo' badge on the back and a 'Autech edition' badge on the front. If it is an autech, then what an awesome way to ferry the family around! Still don't like the GTR badges, but it's close enough.

It just takes time and a lot of effort. I usually take a full day to do mine and am exhausted afterwards. That has more to do with me being unfit than anything else. Anyways, I have seen the work of one place and it is amazing, I'll see if I can get their details. Or you could PM Bullet32 and see if he knows anyone.

Hey everyone. I saw these pricks as well! Last week, my mate and I were taking out the rubbish at work when we saw these little sods pull up next to his car, had a look, then onto mine. We started to walk over, but surprize, surprize, they took off quick smart. We are parked on a very busy road, so they have no problems being out in public. Lucky for me I have a pager alarm, so if these little sods come back i will know. BTW, the timing was amazing as i barely even drive my car during the week. Lucky me gets to take the Mrs car, a brand new XR5. Lets hope they all get hit by a bus...

I don't have specific experience designing workshops, but i produce drawings all day long and have had a reasonable amount of experience. I would be happy to give you a hand with it as i too would like to have my own special place one day. let me know if you want to meet up and discuss the project further.

I'm with Kat. get it towed or it may end up costing you a lot more than just a set of coilpacks. even they are only about 600 local (cheaper over the net)

Calling Gtr Owners.... (i Hear Wedding Bells!)
Donnan replied to Frink's topic in Australian Capital Territory
I'll put my car up for offer as well. But seeing as James has offered, all of our cars will be pretty redundant! -
Hey guys, i have done several searchs, but nothing really stands out as an answer to my question. I was at an advance driving day recently where the instructor pointed out an issue with my car. Now, just to be clear, the car has had this issue since me owning the car so i did not know any better. When braking very hard before turn-in (just before ABS kicks in), the steering goes really heavy. Not just heavy, but you can't turn the wheels heavy. As you could imagine, fighting against the steering makes for a much harder car to drive and is very tiring. My car is basicly stock when it comes to mechanical, just a power fc. I have had a bit of suspension work done, nothing crazy, just a decent street setup. And yes, i still have HICAS.... I had a drive of the instructors car (also an R32 GTR) of which was so much better. The difference was amazing. I am hoping that since the people in the motorsport section actually drive your cars properly, someone may have come accross this issue before. Any help would be great! Cheers Donnan

I'll be there! Just PM me the details. Everyone on here should be more involved with the 'club' and its' activities. I was lucky enough to go to Oran Park on Friday for what was one of the best organised days i can remember. $100 for a day at Oran Park. I can't think of any other form of entertainment that are this cheap and keep you entertained for an entire day. Those who persist in hooning around on our suburban streets really have run out of excuses....

Just to jump on the band wagon: What a freakin' awesome day! A massive thank you to everyone involved in the organising and running of the day!! All of the photos & videos are great (even if i am not in many) !!! I was lucky enough to be able to drive home without any issues (would be a long walk back to Canberra) Can't wait till the next one....

We Have Enougth Money For The Banner
Donnan replied to a20089's topic in Australian Capital Territory
Hey everybody! It has been a while since we started talking about the banner and i am happy to see that we are trying to get something that we are all happy with. I think that we should try and keep it as simple as possible: it is a banner, not a poster. With this in mind, i would like to bring back Bullet's original ideas. I like the black one, but i would like to see the 'ACT' a bit smaller like in the white version; but still solid red. Just adding my 2c and i hope this can be done for 'maques in the park', not sure when it is though -
haven't read through all of the pages yet, but i'm in! filled out the entry form and am about to run to the bank to pay. looking forward to a fair bit of fun!

Once again, thank you very much to all those who attended, organised, took photos, made jokes, cooked and anyone who generally made the day a success! Obviously the day went so well because of the work of Cejay and the boys at ESP, so they should receive the loudest cheers. Anyways, without any further procrastination here are the results: (if there is anyone who does not want their results up here, just PM me and i'll take you off) 31: WhiteRB25DET 153 32GTS-T: Bullet32 236 Ladybytes 152 ZCR 142 33GTS-T: 33Sedan 165 Tarmac 179 Towlie 164 Trident 292 32GTS-4: CeJay 162 32GTR: Donnan 238 Stunnd 214 Phatass 657crazy! 33GTR: GZR33 421 Misc: Nick's VL Turbo 286 Mad Max's F6 Typhoon 416 John's MkII Tourer 197 Nico's Supra 320 But none of these could stand the mighty power of Pat's Starlet of mass destruction with it's truly world defeating 54 front wheel kilowatts!
