dont surpose you have any alternators?

hey guys ive searched the forum the last 2 days with not much help, so sorry if this has been covered Car is 1993 R32 gtst basically how it goes, drive car to work one morning, finshed like 9 hrs later car was dead no warning lights would come up on the dash, nothing. Except my alarm was making a very quite noise, so got a mate to jump start me. Started perfect, but when driving home like 45mins away, just as i got home used my highbeams and my Hicas light came on for a spilt second and my stero restart itself, and the car loses power when using those things now. Now my alarm is going on being 6yrs old now and was thinking maybe it could be the backup battery gone dead. But other ppl are telling me straight up my alternator is going out. i read on here that the Hicas light will flash if the battery is low hence why i think the alternator is not charging the battery i dont have any test lights so what would u guys recomend/ see what i can do?

hey guys just a quick question i just brought some 18x8.5 +30 all round on my r32 gtst wondering if i should put 235/40/18 tyres all round or 235/40 front and 245/40/18 or 255/35/18 rear. i have read through most of the pages but im little unclear still

My air con has never worked since i brought my car, they guy said, it had the gas taken out when it came over here so im going to get new gas next week so thought id do that test and i got 30.5, 30.0, 29.0, 28.0 does this look like all the sensors are okay? and just needs a regass?

i get 310kms to 1/2 then bout 150kms till empty on my rb20det in my r32, and its running rich as with black shit all over my rear bar. I just dont get how it uses so much in the last half, i drive normal 90% of the time nothing over 4.5 rpm so its got me stunned

I have a 3 inch catback no mufflers with twin 3 inch straight pipes and its loud as shit about 120db full throttle on my r32. Im putting a cannon on mine next week cant stand it anymore.

Try giving your Aac Valve a clean http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=110431 Mine had the same problems with rough idle as you described. Would sit around 600rpm on idle and had to keep my foot on it. Gave the Aac and my Afm a good clean out and she runs so smooth now. hope that helps you

mine also sits between -0.6 and -0.7 in BAR also pretty sure it would be normal as my needle would go off the gauge if its anymore

mine does this on my r32, once my turbo timer starts counting down my revs drop to around 300/400 rpm and it struggles to idle and the Hicas light comes on and off. Not to sure why its doing that , its my first turbo car so still learing stuff about it
