  1. if it doesn't see any track work, and is just a daily, than I would definitely say not necessary.
  2. as far as cars with the MOST aftermarket parts/accessories go, the skyline would have to up there. isnt that why you bought one to begin with??
  3. not always. nigel petrie's 2 tone is awesome. cable ties are ghetto! although SR's sound like tractors, they're pretty amazing 2ltr engines for their age.
  4. ill have a look. ive got a pile of car mags, mostly HPI that takes up most of the spare room.
  5. There was a bit on tv last night about facebook pages that warn people where RBT's are in the area. The news anchors where outraged about it, as were police, saying that it 'encouraged' drink driving. I think they are reading into it WAY too much. If your the sort of person who drink-drives, I strongly doubt you would jump on f**kin facebook and see where the police are.. how ridiculous. Im not an active facebook user, but i would think people "like" these sorts of pages as a joke..
  6. yes in theory it can. No, dont got and put 22's on your car.
  7. It sounds like the perfect way to make everyone in your car die of stink poisoning..
  8. can you explain something for me... Why on earth would you buy your MRS a skyline, when your stuck driving a in something like a honda?!
  9. For someone who is only very new to this forum, i'll just give you a heads up.. Stageas have a pretty huge following on here, so maybe not so much hate, save you getting off on the wrong foot.. You already started a thread about R33's being ugly, now stageas...
  10. its hard to find a good mechanic! thats not saying that most mechanics aren't good.. its alot more than just getting the job done..
  11. i assume it would, on the non-anodized ones anyway.
  12. Call a few reputable work shops, and try and get an engineers phone number, and ask them directly. Also, mite want to tripple check with subaru that it will not effect any new car warranties, regardless of having an engineers cert.
  13. If someone wants to sell their vehicle, they will MAKE TIME to get a road worthy. There is no excuse for not selling it with a roadworthy, other than not wanting to pay to fix all the problems/issues!!!! Walk away!! Sellers should BEND OVER BACKWARDS to insure a sale, not vice versa!
  14. NISMO LM-GT1's. loved em. looked great. NISMO wheel nuts. Did the job I guess NISMO T-Shirt.....
  15. Im gunna put it out there, a bad ass R33 GTR has the best street presence of 32, 33, 34's. Its size is what makes it so aggressive.
  16. ^^ These 4 words pretty much sum it up! Good luck dude.
  17. That REALLY is not a very smart idea! Its like waving a red flag at a bull! Like the other guys have said, as soon as they spot the over-sized wheels on the car, it is an invite to go all through the vehicle, and you have the potential to have all sorts of things defected... including not having enough water in you windscreen wiper reseviour. Could become bullshit expensive, and time consuming, and for what? having some Mexican poke?
  18. OP, Don't assume that everyone thinks poorly of R33's.
  19. not bad, considering you were after $20k ono.
  20. I paid $400 to get a flat-bed from byron to brisbane, about 200k's.1 So I'd say $1200 is pretty good.
  21. went and had a close up look at a gts at our local toyota dealer. looks alot nicer in the flesh than on paper. ALOT smaller than i thought it would be. i was quite shocked. im not sure if it was just this dealer, or australia wide, but the waiting list for a gt86 manual (the base model) is f**kIN AGES!!
  22. I dont warn anyone. I figure if your breaking the law, you deserve to be caught.
