  5. i just wish nissan had put the money and effort into developing a new silvia, or r35 gtst..
  6. i dont know where they get these figures on "average" wages, but they seem quite skewed to me!!!
  7. you really know your products terry!!
  8. your rite, its dorky as hell. ive never seen a gtr watch before. if you like it mate, thats all that matters!
  9. Buy it locally. Get it looked over very thoroughly. Be prepared to spend money on it. And proper money too. Easily thousands. A $15k R32 Gtr will be ruff round the edges. As for insurance, your 20. expect to pay HEAPS for full comp insurance. thats IF anyone will insure you. EDIT- Im not trying to sound negative, but old imports are expensive toys!!!
  10. nice one mate. look forward to seeing how this turns out. ive got a real soft spot for s14's!
  11. oh man, thats bad! how many cars were stolen all up?
  12. well I'll be damned!
  13. you haven't mentioned what type of car it is, but im assuming its a skyline. my opinion is, there are SO many second hand skylines for sale. and rite now its a buyers market too. if the car being previously stolen worries you (it would worry me) than simply dont buy the car. just look for another nice one at the rite price. like i said there are HEAPS of skylines for sale, you can afford to be picky..
  14. i cant even imagine what it would be like to make money like that! i dont disagree with what your saying, but your generalising a very subjective thing. i suppose i did a bit too. but the hospitality industry certainly doesnt follow most 'trends' i have found from may many years involved in it.
  15. cheers chris, im looking for a new car at the moment, so no doubt i'll be calling by in the near future!
  16. leave it without the wing. definitely dont get a drift wing. yuck. good luck with modifying. just remember, there is heaps of amazing info on this forum regarding modifications, but there is also misleading advice too, so make sure you keep your wits about you!
  17. i just find it so hard to 'worry' about petrol prices, when other goods/services are getting more expensive by the minute!!! e.g in since 1990 the prices of basic food staples like bread, tea, milk, sugar, potatoes, butter and eggs have almost tripled, some primal cuts of meats have quadrupled in price. its at the point now where there are a few cuts of meat that you will NEVER see on a restaurant menu, as it would have to be at an insane price, just to cover costs. the qld government data base lists the average price of fuel in Brisbane in 1990 at $0.63 so fuel prices have roughly doubled in that time. as a professional chef, the cost of fuel is a joke to my industry, compared to the rising cost of food. its f**king scary! its near impossible these days to make a decent living owning a restaurant, especially in the fine dining scene.
  18. you'll be fine mate.
  19. I hit mine with night shades years ago, my 32 was black so it looked ok...just. edit... your 32 is the silver one in the pic?? i would DEFINATELTY go clear over night shaded ones on a silver car
  20. haha cool man. f**k your car is clean!
