32 gtst are getting really hard to find a nice example. gettin REAL old now. r32 is my fav shape by far, but when its a 20 year old sports car, your really have to think twice about actually purchasing one now days. i'd go a 33. there are so many to choose from its almost ridiculous. and prices have dropped big time

where are you located? its probably worth a phone call to your nearest exhaust specialist / jap performance garage, and ask them. you will get your question answered in 30 seconds, rather than waithing 2 weeks on a car forum full of people that may not deliver advice worth taking.

mate, those old bits of wood dont look like a very safe material to build something as serious as ramps for a car. no offence to your ramp-building-ability, but i would never feel safe working under a car held up by old chip board ramps. ...unless i have completely missed the mark and by 'ramps' you mean something else??

Ok, this is giving me a nose bleed... IF you can even entertain the thought of purchasing an R35, that why the fuck would you waste your time and money buying an R33, just to sell it (and loose plenty of dollars) in, say, a year or 2 time, then buy an R34?? JUST BUY AN R34! It is so obvious that you are new to modified cars. You do not NEED to buy a modified skyline as your first one. Buy a stock one, they are still great fun and shit on many cars. I enjoyed my first skyline in stock trim for over a year until I started modding it. It gives you a great chance to get to know your car, and not get behind the wheel of a car you may not be ready for. So my advice is.. Search around for a nice STOCK R34, and start from there. you will get one for just a wee bit more than an R33 anyway. Learn in it. have fun in it. enjoy paying heaps to insure it. THEN, IF you want to spend some money to mod it, go for it, OR just sell it for the $12k you bought it for, and with the $100k you have in that shoebox under your bed, go buy your R35 ya muppet.

Wow mate, what a bit of bad luck. It sounds like you bought the car with no RWC? or what ever they are called in NSW? If you DID however purchase it from a dealer, than the issues should be covered by them. If how ever you purchased it privately, AND there WAS a RWC supplied, than you need to contact the business or inspector who gave it the tick, and start asking some very serious questions. Otherwise, if buying an unroadworthy car, ALWAYS get it inspected before purchase. People who claim to be selling a cur unreg or with no RWC as they "dont have time" or "it just needs new brake pads to pass" are full of shit. But you dont need hear this mate, im sure you realise the very expensive mistake you have made.

Not a very good idea at all. not every one likes running illegal mods that have very minor gains at an almost stock level.

There is no point getting a custom exhaust made up for a 33 gtst. there are millions of bolt-on one ready to go off the shelf, and also plenty of awesome second hand ones to choose from.

I didnt draw attention to any of the other peculiarities, but now i will.. What is a "gas's", and how does it relate to your NA R33 Skyline? What is "ea"? Also, this isn't a jab at the OP, but how could you buy and own ANY car, not just a skyline, and not have any idea what model it is? I understand that i am a car enthusiast, but isn't it standard procedure to find out at least what model car you are purchasing before you hand over your hard earned?
