  6. so bored atm! the weekends are way too short!! anyone going to the footy this friday night?
  7. glad you got the car back and in reasonable condition. reminders to everyone to check and double check your alarm systems making sure they are in working order. it doesnt hurt to test the alarm every so often. if your worried about the neighbours getting annoyed do it in a car park or maybe at your local park.

i agree with sled, the better option is to either redraw (if you have a variable home loan) or if possible apply for a top up on your loan. with the commbank there are three types of personal loans that you can apply for unsecured fixed, variable and secured fixed rate the loan terms for unsecured tend to be around the 1-7 years with minimum starting at 5000 with a max of $50,000. the fixed rate secured loan is for cars that are bought from reputable car yards, with the car being no older than 5 years. the loan term on these are 1-5 years with min 14,000 and no maximum amount you can borrow. also to add there tends to be a establishment fee of around 300. in order to apply for a personal loan, one must be working preferably full time and be able to provide financials for two consecutive pay slips. what i also say is the more information you can give the better. as long as the loan purpose is for "personal use" they dont really care. say its for a holiday, say its for a wedding, say its for rennovations. by all means shop around for rates, value and service. if you have questions, dont hesistant to ask goodluck with it all
  9. hey bunny, if possible could i get a pm of the meet spot thanks buddy
  10. link worked for me. thanks benny_blanco
  11. hey all, if possible could i also get the link? cheers
  12. spotted that too.... Sound tough on boost. loved the gold gtcs also spotted at around 6ish a nice clean looking white r32 with black bonnet on main north, with sau sticker across the front windscreen.
  13. forgive me if i am wrong, but i was under the impression that insurance companies required import cars whether turbo or NA to be insured under the youngest driver...i know just car require this. so even if its under your parents name and you are in an accident they wont cover you. And we all know insurance companies will do anything to take our money when it comes to premiums, but when it comes to pay outs they will find anything that may void your policy. goodluck with that all champ!
  14. damn, sorry to hear of your misfortunes luke. Hopefully it doesnt cost too much to fix. its crazy how even after the alarm goes off they still have the nerve to attempt to take the steering lock off. i thought a flashing led was enough to scare any opportunist thief away, i guess i was wrong...they still tried. Keep them locked up boys & girls
  15. +1 i agree with simon, there is no need for a turbo timer. not only are they an easy defect item for police, but also makes it easier for thieves to start your car. drive off boost for the last km or two before you reach your destination then you can either turn off or wait 30 seconds. and like madaz has already mentioned in earlier posts by the time you grab your wallet, your sunnies, wind the windows up, detach your deck and take it with you, get the steering wheel lock on...it should be ample time. this question is directed at Simon and other members who track their cars...after a hard session at mallalah how long do let your cars idle before you turn off??
