Hey guys i have for sale an unmolested air box and snorkel out of a r34. Im unsure what model this fits but i bought it for a r34 gt (non turbo) which it did not fit. I believe it fits all turbo models?? I am chasing $100 and am located in burwood, sydney. (i will not seperate the snorkel or box im looking to get rid of it as no longer have the car.) hit me up via PM if your interested.

^^^ Unsure if thier is a difference between a standard gtr airbox and a turbo r34 airbox? I bought it off another member of this site some time ago and know no longer have a car to use it with. Welcome to check it out and see if it is a gtr airbox / fits your car.

Yeah TMG if your gonna let go of that stock box let me know.. I would whack the cannon back on but its too bloody loud im over my "rice" days and prefer a quite exhaust lol. Was looking at getting some extractors and decently priced one's anybody could recommend?

nah mine is the different engine i think. i dont think its the RB20DE (photo's of my engine bay attached) Im going to have a play with my cat converter this weekend have a stock one a spare stock one at home i picked up this week hope that sorts it out.

Yeah some did mention it could be the cat converter was probably stuffed how much are they to get replaced ruffly i heard it was pretty expensie?? Im not sure which engine i have in mine all i know that at the moment for a V6 it goes like ass...it wasnt like that when i first purchased it thought has just got progressively worse.

Ok my only vents from the left vent. I plan on getting it serviced very soon how much is a tune? Ive been trying to get my hands on a stock box for months with no luck the only one's that seem to be for sale are turbo airboxes...are any old airboxes interchangeble with the gt airbox?

all plugs are supposedly fine not 100% sure about the timing belt havent had it checked! might be an idea thought..

Hi guys about six months ago i purchased an AUTOMATIC 99 four door r34 gt. Ever since i have owned the car it has seemed to have no "down low" power as in a charade could get of the lights faster than i could. When i bought the car it was fitted with a massive four inch cannon and a pod filter (pod still fitted at this stage but am looking for a stock airbox if anybody wants to sell me one) i originally thought the cannon could be causeing the loss of downlow power so this was replaced with a stock twin tip muffler from a two door r34 with no improvement at all...Recently the twin tip i bought has carked it and only vents from one of the tips and makes a horrible noise on acceleration ( i know this has to be replaced could this be a reason for the loss of power? A loss of pressure possibly??? could the K & N pod be causeing this lack of downlow power? I appreciate it is no turbo and auto but my dads hyundai elantra has better take off than my car something is just not right..any tips would be greatly appreciated other than the pod it is completly stock..

Hey guys i bought a new pioneer ipod adaptable headunit today..i tried to install it myself with no luck. i bought the snap on wire adapters from autobarn made for nissans (my car is an r34 gt) and after pluging them in i got nothing no power anything...i dnt know what to do. When i try installing the stock antenna plug it gives the player power but obviously it doesnt fit... Could anybody recommend somewhere to get this installed?? Or would someone like to in sydney like to have a crack?? everything has already been pulled out just needs to be wired up. i would swing a $50 someone's way. Im in castle hill if anyone is interested.

Hi guys i currently have an R34 gt sedan with what i think is an r33 passenger side seat in the drivers seat. It does not have an adjuster knob on the side of the seat to adjust how high/low you sit in the seat and currently find i can barely see the road as the seat is too low. Could someone confirm if any standard skyline seats are hight adjustable?? or if any other nissan seats would fit like a nissan maxima seat or something!!! Cheers

Thanks beer baron...its just been a total pain in the ass as i dnt have original import papers (awaiting from department) and as my mechanic hasnt sighted the import papers he wont sign off on it...total BS in my opinion and as it was a friday and most places being open half days saturday's left me in a total jam. I hope to get it all sorted this week thought.

I have recently been searching high and low for a STOCK airbox for a r34 GT 4 door taxi. I managed to track one down from a member from this forum or so i thought it appears i have bought a stock GT-T airbox. Could someone confirm if these airboxes are interchangeable or have i just bought a dud airbox?? as it does not appear to fit.

Hey guys i recently swapped my subaru forester for a 99 R34 GTT with a guy in queensland. I am know trying to go thru the process of having it rego'd ( currently has queensland plates) i have changed the exhaust from cannon to stock twin tips, have sourced a standard airbox just has to be fitted but am having some trouble with the wheels. My mechanic is insiting they have to be engineered ( my wheels) as they are the 17inch wheels from the coupe R34 and not the sixteen inch wheels that come on the sedans...can someone clarify for me if these wheels are legal? as i belived there was some room in regard to tyre fitments and sizes and still stay legal? I have also been told that since the car is less than ten years old i will have to go to an RTA inspection site!! can someone confirm what the cost involved with this inspection? and weather i would pass with these wheels? This has been such a pain in the ass this blue slip im regretting buying the skyline I have attached a photo of the rims i have on my car (not my car but you get the idea).....if these arent legal does anybody have any legal ones i could borrow for blue slip!!! im in castle hill but will travel almost anywhere in sydney if anybody has any stockies with tread that will pass!!
