  1. Sometimes when I stop the car at the lights, the idle will go just a little below the line (I'm guessing thats around 500rpm). And the car rolls backwards on hills (automatic), my old car doesn't do that (I think my old car's idle was ~ 750rpm).
  2. Yeah, I've cleaned it. Lucky I've got small hands and didn't drop any tools in the process
  3. If I were you, I'd get someone "with a licence" to drive it once a week, and just before the licence comes back do a 5000k service (oils and filters, etc).
  4. arggg....right.... so just use this page: unplug the brown connector and turn the screw and plug it back in?
  5. Nissan was boring last year, if I remember correctly, nearly every car @ the nissan stand is silver (so was porsche) Anyway, I'll go this year and take loads of photos
  6. (You can't adjust the idle in the conzult free software, it is just a gauge/meter) But I'm adjusting via the screw? This page:
  7. Here is what I did: Hook up the nissan consult with a laptop Start conzult free, click on "engine", click on "full data monitoring" Checked everything is looking good Click on "base idle adjustment" and the engine's idle dropped to around the 5xxrpm mark Close the "base idle adjustment" window and the idle jumps back up So I'm assuming when I click on "base idle adjustment" I can use that to adjust my base idle via the screw and look at the laptop for more accurate adjustment. (Am I right?)
  8. Hi all, got a question. When adjusting the base idle using a laptop and conzult (free version) via the nissan consult port, do I still need to disconnect the tps sensor? (My theory is that by using the software, it will turn off the tps signal to the ecu anyway) (If anyone has done it this way b4, what steps did you take?) Thanks!
  9. I use vled from ebay, pretty bright I'd say. (to a point that I cannot stare at it for more than 2 seconds)

    A Big Hole

Gee....the hole is big, hope they can find the survivors
  11. I also agree, more centralised information and professional (or experienced) recommendation is always a good idea. People won't need to search and ask everywhere unless it is not covered by the faq.
  12. This bov is a dual port, adjustable spring tension, 50% plumbs back and 50% vent to air. You got pm.
  13. There is no need to left it for 24hrs. Just disconnect the neg. terminal from the battery, depress the brake pedal for 60 seconds and hook it back up. If your clock is reset then the ecu is cleared.
  14. I was going to say mtec, but you don't like them? mmm...how about piaa? Used to have piaa on my old car, the 7500k xenon gas filled (pretty expensive though, and they are not white, as 7500k is towards blue). You need something around 4300k to be white. And yes they are H1.
  15. Okay, I'll have a look and see if it is there. Thanks.
  16. The cow is big.... Love the end bit where Jeremy gets sued for giving away a free car!
  17. I'd say, keep the car, but buy a $500 run around for three years.
  18. Did you check the H1 bulb is install the correct way first? (They can only be installed in one way)
  19. internet gone stupid....
  20. Can't tell the difference between mobil 8000, bp ultimate and shell v-power....(maybe I should gun it from time to time) Psychologically I prefer mobil 8000 and VERY much dislike shell, but I've been using bp a lot since I own the car.
