  1. heard they are stronger than the nissan belt, also heard they are noiser
  2. coilpacks im guessing as they have a habit of missing at approx 4500rpm
  3. i will be interested if these work out, however not for a few months
  4. tomei or nismo 500hp pumps can be hand for approx $400 another option is the bosch 044 external
  5. yes they will fit, make sure u have the correct offset tho
  6. just to add, im now at 204rwkw and it lose traction coming onto boost in 1st, shift into second real quick and it will "chirp" lol im pretty sure it just was a bit of lackng power and possibly the combination of new tyres and a car that seems to be in good nick suspension wise and also my boost controller (turbotech) didnt have the hole like the newly designed ones so when i fixed that up boost kicks in instantly on a high rev gear change unlike before it had a second of lag when changing from first to second even if i shifted at redline and 2nd was at over 4000rpm now to test that clutch again... seems to not be holding out on high rev clutch dumps like on takeoffs at the drags
  7. i had problems raising the boost anything above standard (132rwkw) as the ecu would shit itself. so i got a hks fcd installed and adjusted on the dyno and i got 175rwkw at 10psi with a much better power curve and afr's, so yeah it helps if your having problems like i was but obviously the more involved computers are better like mentioned before
  8. custom pipes will cost u almost as much as a blitz lm kit and than u still have a chinese intercooler not that there is anything wrong with them as that is what i have on my car also just a thought
  9. walbro in for the past few months, 205rwkw no problem of it dying
  10. you may need an adapter to connect it to where the standard BOV is
  11. i was happy with crd although they are pricey UAS seemed good and also a bit pricey
  12. thats unreal, 1m high lol
  13. thats the gasket from the engine to manifold not manifold to turbo which is around the 40 dollar mark
  14. there is plenty of info around you just have to use that search button but ill get u started injectors you have options like nismo 550cc/740cc or cheaper sard ones which require some mods to get in or high-flowed ones from deutshworks or something intercooler you will probably need something at least 600x300x76mm thick but preferably 100mm thick for that power definately need an aftermarket ecu like power fc/haltech/microtech/wolf...the list goes on fuel pump a bosch 044, nismo or tomei 500hp one turbo im not sure but it will be pretty big not to mention many other things like afm upgade new clutch... the list goes on just have a search and u will lfind
  15. charcoal canister is a device that has something to do with emissions as far as i know (not sure what it does or how to hook it up correctly) but i know what it looks like in my 33 its a can about 15-20cms round and about 20cms high usually just behind the passenger front headlight but mine was tucked away under the front bar somewhere. usually has 2-3 hoses coming in and out of it about the fuel smell, check and double check the lines in your engine bay as well as leaking o-rings around the injectors also have a read of this, probably not your problem but something to consider http://planetsoarer.com/fuel/index.html
  16. not know what the values should be for a gtr etc but i know that he said this RESISTOR, 10W 5% 68R so that means they are 68Ohms not 10 or under like stated
  17. pictures? where are u located? ill take it if i can come see it in syd
  18. yes its interchangeable
  19. each state has a legal limit, nsw is 90db so if its louder than that even when you rev it than you can get fined
  20. how thick is the intercooler piping? how many threads would u get on the piping? i remember my piping was maybe 2mm thich i got someone to install it for me and weld a nipple on there but ive heard of people doing what u did and worked fine
  21. i drilled a hole, what a difference. before it felt like there was something holding me back between gear changes (sort of like i changed from 3rd to 2nd and compression was slowing me down) and generally i had to accelerate more than would expect to keep up with traffic but now the car seems to roll easily after gear changes and boost is straight back up YAY so back to the topic, yes it can be a laggy boost tee lol
  22. exactly 1mm hole?
  23. sorry to hijack but my turbotech one doesnt come with a hole, should i drill a 1mm hole in the body of it like this picture has one http://img162.echo.cx/my.php?image=00001549rz.jpg
  24. oil pump could be gone or on its way out but usually they dont go for any reason sorry cant help u out much does the oil pressure rise when u slowly rev the engine? what does it sit at idle? and when going?> usually from what ive heard the gauge isnt very accurate but the oil pressure light is so if that come on than theres a problem
  25. black32, mine 33 came out with 134 not r12 which is the older style gas so im not sure what your saying abouyt jap a/c systems im pretty sure it wasnt converted but most r32s are r12
