i had an exhaust leak coming from the exhaust manifold to head gasket. was a slight sound of air escaping, and by 1 week later my car was as loud as a tractor. couldnt drive it and yes i did lose performance very noticably. however urs might be tiny and maybe from the turbo/manifold seal btw cost me $350 to get 5 studs fixed with all new sleeves/inserts and the like by a professional thread repairer. he said it was the 2nd hardest job he has ever done. whoever changed the manifold before completely destroyed all the bolts/threads etc..

what dimensions is the intercooler?

cool, so does the 225 mean mean it is 225mm wide (just under 9") or is that wrong?

what size are the r34 gt-t rims? i have them on my car (r33) and they use 225/45/17s so are they 7" or 8" wide? would i be able to put 235's on there without them looking ridiculous?

it alters the signal the ecu is getting from the afm so it fools it into thinking its getting less air than it really is so it uses less fuel. with this u can adjust your a/f ratios.. i believe this is correct as that is what i was told (and shown on the dyno)

just some info, i had problems boosting anything more than standard got 132rwkw with turbo back exhaust and 8psi got a hks fuel cut defender and jumped right up to 175kw with 10psi (was running mega rich before) standard intercooler/airbox for now

hey mate just wondering do u have a pic with the pods on the car? i have a standard r33 series 1, would these fit or do i already have "pods" so to speak? also interested in spoiler but not sure as your in melb and i would like it to be in black so i dont have to respray it

well i know its got the demister ones but there is also some that are open circuit (as in they dont connect to anything else to complete the circuit) so i assumed it was an antenna of some sort

yeah dude, just keep saving up for another few years and it will pay off dont worry about skylines at ur age. insurance is rediculous even for someone older than u. i dont believe in paying so much insurance that by 2-3 yrs time you could have bought the same car lol hey im only 23 and i just bought my first skyline... drove a 1.8l pulsar for 6 years before that

i dont know if its the same for a 33 but looks like mine has an antenna in the rear windscreen and also has a motorised one on the rear quarter.. i know the one on the quarter panel is connected to my radio, just wondering what the other one was for? sorry for hijacking thread

when is the last time u serviced the car like changed your fuel filter? im not sure tho, main cause of stalling is a vacuum leak so i guess check all vacuum hoses

YAYYYYYYYYY, its only the exhaust manifold gasket and possibly a couple studs broken its still ganna cost about $400 for parts + labour but thats much better than a new head or whatever thanks for everyones help
