  1. Sorry for the delay on responding. Not sure why the auto emails from the forum are not notifying me any more. The sensible thing to do is apply for a 2 year interest free loan through GE Finance or the like. That way the money is there up front for any purchase and the monthly payments are low. I'd be a fruit case to let anyone pay me over a period of time as there are no assurances you would keep up the payments whereas finance companies have their butts covered big time.
  2. pm me what you said just out of curiosity.
  3. eh? what's edited? who broke what rules? eh? eh? did Talej say something rude?
  4. From recollection your bum sits at the same height but the front of the seat below your legs was tilted higher due to the base frame size and bolt on location. The seat has electric adjustable height which pivots from the front of the seat. Rails are built into the base frame below the motorised hight adjustable mechanism. The seat interface for the GTS-T was done by Roman Autotek in Rhodes, Sydney. Will require power connection under the base of the seat. Very snug seat when you slide into it. Never tried it on a track but I can imagine how secure you would feel in a tight fast corner. Also good for four point harness with the holes in the back. This seat was the last of the Recaro Sports that had the harness holes in the back. Apparently can't get them any more.
  5. Here are a couple of pix of the seat when it was in the car. If you search in this forum for "Recaro" from user just_grouse you will find the other pix.
  6. ok, my Recaro Sports seat is still on the market. Been sitting under plastic in the garage for months now waiting for an offer. I was going to get a new car to fit it into but that's not going to happen now with four children. New selling price - $1200. Not bad for a seat that was about $2000 new (and still is "as new") to get installed my my ex-R33 GTS-T. Pix are on my original post but if you can't find them let me know. Seat has to go! Once you have sat in this seat you will definately not look back. PM me for reasonable offers.
  7. Mi-Trek GPS tracking unit. Can interface to existing alarm trigger signal to allow it to SMS you if you car is broken into. Tracking is via a Java web page or WAP enabled phone with your own login. Car can be immobilised remotely via the web interface. Movement zones can also be configured to send you a warning SMS if the car is moved outside of that defined zone. More details on the unit and how it all works can be found at www.mi-trek.com. Unit typically sells for about $2000 today (+ $160 for 2 years web login access) Unit is almost 2 years old but was only in the car for under a year. As new with all the wiring ready to hook up. Selling unit for $1500. After that you will need to pay Mi-Trek for access ($160 for 2 years). A form from Mi-Trek will be supplied that just needs to be filled in to assign the unit to your name. You also need to purchase a mobile phone SIM card for the unit. Mi-Trek have a good deal with Vodafone to suppy the SIM at a minimal cost / month. I can send you the a price listing for this. PM me if you are a serious buyer.
  8. Still for sale? BTW, just curious but has the metal bar (goes all the way along the front just under the headlights) behind the custom front bumper had a chunk ground out of it so that the front bumper could fit that car (assuming you have actually had the bumper off at some stage to see it)? Also, did they check the cylinder pressures on your last major service? Were they all ok... i.e. no blow-by? Very interested. Been keen on getting a black non-series 2 (front bonnet looks nicer). Would seriously consider purchase for $18,500. Can you PM me any pix you have? Thanks
  9. Please don't take this the wrong way, but, for a 94 GTS-T I would expect to pay more around the $16-21k mark (at least that seems to be the typical private sale mark for this age car). If you reconsider your pricing (after looking at the prices others are selling their's for) I would seriously consider buying this car.
  10. I am so going to have to spend a weekend in Melbourne checking these GTR's out!
  11. If people are going to get these GTR badges ($70) and put them on their GTS-T's why on earth don't they put them in the correct position on the boot?? I too got the urge to get one of these badges but at least I made the effort to get it in the same position as the real GTR's. Check back end photo's of GTR's guys before you go wacking those badges on. If you are going to spend that much on a bit of plastic make the effort to get it in the correct position. Sorry for the gripe. Nice car tho! SHAME ABOUT THE BADGE!
  12. Still for sale? Pics please. [email protected] Very willing to spend a weekend in Melbourne to suss this car out. < $40K is what I've been holding out for in an R33 GTR. thanks
  13. Second hand (6 months old) GTS-T R33 front strut brace. Undamaged and in good condition (see jpg). Probably fits the GTR as well...not sure? Was $175 new. Selling for $100 ONO. Prefer to sell anywhere between Sydney and the Blue Mountains. Can ship it interstate but at cost to the buyer.
