hey guys my problem is in my mates r32gtr the engine control fuse keeps blowing and i dont know what runs of this fuse to diagnose, any help is greatly appreacitated i do have a schemetic but cannot find the fuse on it please guys some information would be awesome

hey guys its time to sell my car, awesome car making 330kws easily alot more is able to be made but we were limited as dyno cell was 40+degrees MAKE: Nissan skyline 1995 r33gtst with rb30/25det non vct 11months rego ENGINE: tomei cams 10.2 lift mahl pistons acl race series bearings argo rods cometic head gasket garret gt3540 with .82 rear hks intercooler 3 inch exhuast with titanuim tipped cannon rpm technoligies spring sprung ceramic button clutch side facing plenum sard 770cc injectors bosch 044 in custom surge tank mounted in boot spit fire coil packs z32airflow meter apexi power fc and hand controller eboost 2 adjustiable cam gears on inlet and exhuast EXTERIOR: 18x9 ruff rims with new tyres on rear front tyres ok, tyres replaced on rear cause dyno chewed them out greddy coilovers hicas removed and lock bar is in place new inner tie rod ends PRICE 18,000 ono or may swap for something of my interest

the exhuast has made 270kw with the rb and gtrs turbo hes plan is to upgrade the wastegate spring, and that should settle the boost down, but for the non lumpy idle i have no idea

cheers well muffler is not restricted cat is missing the internals as was clogged, new item is waiting fittment inlet/ filter is fine boost guage is off the manifold 4 nipples for vacume lines

i dont know any or the specs, bad bad experiances with engine build, not going into them over the net. tiall 44mm gate, i think cometic head gasket, thats all the specs i know

hey guys the car is a r33 gtst with a rb30/25 combo engine was built buy hills motorsport has no vct solid cam tomei pro cams 270duration 10.2 lift for inlet and exhaust findaza adjustable cam gears side entry plenum mahl pistons argo rods acl race series bearings n1 oil pump standard harmonic balancer rpm single plate ceramic clutch 3inch exhaust tial wastgate gt3540/ 82 r power fc 740cc injectors z32 airflow eboost 2 car is getting tuned by 3 eleven motorsport tuner is shane brandon, currently worked for newcastle perfromance and unique auto sports car will not make over 280kw no matter what boost pressure 1 problem, thought to believe the car was polluting the charge? so after extensive hours and fiddling we put on adjustable camgears and found out that the timing was retarded. fixed this issue dialed the cams in and still no significant power gains, then noticed problem 2 2. boost pressure, turbo will create 20psi of boost but will not boost pressure. on the dyno graph. boost plot, the line drastically falls away at higher rpm, so we checked boost controller installation no problems so then we disconected the conroller and ran it just with the wastgate, to find out it has a 7 psi spring, so obivusly a stronger spring is needed? problem number 3? with the cams being 270 duration and 10.2 lift shouldnt it have a distintive idle? the car sounds like a boat, no crisp lumpy idle? but on the short fall we cannot seem to get the figures you guys are creating. an rb30/25 combo should be pushing around 320 350 kw at 25 psi? any feed back would be great as my patience has worn particullary thin

hey sorry for the thread steal again, anthony has tuned my car again this weekend, car is now running 17 psi and is making 274kw at the wheels

sorry for stealing thread, but anthony, has also tuned my car, and the results are awesome, car is a 1995 nissan skyline r33 gtst rb30/25 gt3540r turbo massive long list of mods, made 265kw at 14psi, and bucket loads of torque, if anyone whats more details pm me, but anythony did a fantastic job and he will be doing all my tuning in the future

the reason your air flow meter does this is because inside in between the mesh screen is a heat resistive wire which changes its voltage as it gets cooled by the passing air, so water will make the resistance across the wire and bingo hope that helped explain it

hey guys pulled the head off yesterday because when i was checking everything i noticed that a exhaust manifold nut was loose, i tried to tighten it but the stud was really loose in the head i then noticed a shit load of oil all over my block and guess what......i only got all my manifold bolts replaced 4 months ago and the wankers drilled right thought to number 1 tapppet ill take a foto and show u all

yeah no SNAPPED dowels the pin was perfect, i have absolutly no idea what to do im thinking about putting it back together and leaving it, i cannot seem to find out whats going on with it. 19mm bolt was really really tight!!

i just finished pulling both cam gears off and guess what no snapped dowels i really dont know what to do ???? thanks guilt-toy

could my vct be mucking up my compression test?

hey guys you may have read my other thread about low compression across all 6 pistons well, i have checked everything i know. i pulled the cam covers of and put a spanner on the nut part at the front of the cam and gently pulled on the cam and held the cam gear to see if there is movement between the joins and i have nothing on the exhuast cam, on the inlet cam with the variable valve timing cam gear i did they same and i had a inch of movement is this correct

could this snapped dowl sound like a tapping noise???

tester was an ABW brand and it was a screw in fitting one, car was tested cold, not sure about the oil

yeah man they all line up perfect... i spoke to several repuatable tuners and mechanics and they still think it has timing issues! but it is lined up can the cam itself be out compared to the cam gear??

hey guys, well story goes rb25det.... no power under 2500rpm and then creates boost but has no pull so i checked compression. pulled all 6 plugs out held car under wot and tested results as follow p1. 90 psi p2. 90 psi p3. 85 psi p4. 80 psi p5. 90 psi p6. 95 psi pulled timing cover off as thought belt may have jumped. timing is all good pulled tapet covers off to see if cam turns yes both do... is it possible to be low on all 6 cylinders car starts and idles smooth!!! help please?

hey mate i would recomend a bes turbo timer available throw rocket industurie B.E.S turbo timers are great i have one in my skyline and i fit them in all my customers cars and mining equipment and i have had 2 faulty units out of about 100 so yeah b.e.s or boogard they are all the same
