  4. Drift Competition rounds: Oct 4 Nov 1 Dec 6 All saturdays, all at wannerroot. Fabcar "one day classic" Nov 2, see antilag.com for more info.
  5. Fines rose the whole way, not just 20 over, and it's not cause of the hoon law... 0-9 $75 instead of 50, still no points. 10-19 $150 2 points instead of $100 and 1 etc etc 45+ hoonlaw.
  6. If some one tried to carjack me I'd wish them luck. Hell, if they can pull me out of the bucket seat, through the roll cage without me managing to get away, they damn near deserve it!
  7. Yes but son of rajab knows why you'd bring your own mother on a cruise...
  8. This is why we are friends. Because we are the same. I too wallpapered as soon as I found.
  9. http://i36.tinypic.com/2lkz2v9.jpg - Does this pic represent or what? 2 best cars of the day lined up ready for a run down Zig Zags.... <3 You Nathan
  10. Was that the Blue Commodore with stickers/chev badging etc??
  11. Ok... Real post time First of all, well done to everyone. Despite the small incident between the skylines we didn't have any issues. Considering the weather we all did really well. It sucks that the other guys did have a bif, but at least they're all OK . First leg was great, staying in a straight line was damn near impossible... I know I was slipping without the right pedal and poor old Marc couldn't turn a 90 degree corner but instead had to turn some 360 degrees Pity I missed it!! Spearwood bypass was confusing as f**k but totally worth it... Brian, you win the award for "best U turn performed in traffic". You deserve it buddy and I think the guy in the ute would agree Call of the day has to go for the Gateways stop when I certain S15 drove past and the call "anyone need a root?" was made.... ^5 f**ked off a lil early so I could make a home stop along the next leg koz shoes were pissing me off. Didn't have too much time to spare as it worked out so you lot mustn't have left too long after me. Met the front runners along brookton and lead them through to weir. The look on the guys face as Marc and I flew past was hilarious... Excellent little run and it's about time a cruise map used it Blue VZ Commodore with Chev badges and stickers... Apparently a cop! Not that I knew when passing him the other way on weir at *insert speed*.... Hell I thought he was warning US about cops ahead when he was flashing his lights.... I was gonna give him the finger.... Probly best I didn't! Zig zag... Dear Mr commodore driver and dog whore mrs. Please do not PARK DIRECTLY IN THE CENTRE OF THE f**kING ROAD!!!! To say I shat just a little would be a good description of what happened when I found them at *insert speed*, as did Nathan in his 33 behind me... Up until then I was having a good run tho, despite the spin (followed by some more spinning) at the first hairpin. The back section was nice and cruisey, a quick high speed run down Roe then cruising with the traffic up until Ellen Stirling. NB: Don't clutch onto Ellen Stirling, there may Cops coming the other way.... Thanks all Was a tops day
  12. Option B should be renamed option A and should be the only option available... The other options can become options when you have cams.
  13. I know it's probly a lot of hush hush and developmental shit but.... Any chance you can let us in on what kind of performance additions will be taking place??
  14. Cool cool, sorry if it came across the wrong way, wasn't meant to
  15. No turbo timer? Do you thrash the f**k outta it and then turn it off while still hot? Might be worth doing some reading up on how to look after a turbo car while you get the rebuild to save you from breaking your new setup (or more)
  16. I ripped mine out (s15) for collie, then when I went to put them back in, I couldn't get the seatbelts to come out... Seats were in tho. Got stickered one night for bald tyres and had to go over. Rather than f**k around with the seatbelts, I figured I'd go the 2 seat option so that if I needed to pull the seats out again, I could, legally. ALL bolts/brackets/anything else sharp/not a part of the body needs to be removed and you need something to block the boot from the cabin (I used MDF drilled into the body). I think that's to do with fumes/possibility of explosion, but I'm not sure. My car is still rego'd for 4 seats, but have the permit for no rear seats. So in the event I want to take the whole family out, I can throw it all back together (with seatbelts) and still have 4 people in the car legally. In the event I want to go to collie and load up 10 tyres, I can rip it all apart and do that legally. Only thing is, I think you'll find if you have the back seat in, you will need to have the seatbelts in. So even if you have the permit and get pulled over, not having seatbelts for seats is a yellow, where as if the whole lot wasn't there you'd be fine.
  17. IF you do go ahead PM me... Always on the lookout. www.youtube.com/superkiri - there's a shitload of clips from a SilWA day we there. Don't expect a driftfest tho... Unless they know you can drive, there are limits on how much sliding you can do...
  18. There's a guy on SilWA that knows his shit - Dalspec - $200 installed. I wouldn't recommend doing it yourself unless you know about pre-loads and what not... Maybe if you were installing a 2nd hand centre into your bunky... But for $1000+ worth of brand new 2way, I'd want all my backlash etc setup right....
  19. Go n ask the pits boys... For as long as I've been prepping cars for the pits, they've had to have heaters. I've had to fix many a coolant leak for that reason too. Hey, they may have changed it (within the past 6 months), but I think you'll find I'm right.
  20. Have your headlights run out of fluid yet?? That's another that'll get you... Just remember if the cops see the bypassed heater they'll do you for it... "Must have hot air blowing on windscreen" for pits. Other option is to fit up an electric heater in the dash... Which probly ends up as much f**king around as replacing the heater core. Plus the heater core can act as a mini radiator, if you ever overheat, it could save your headgasket. Probly sounds like I'm pro-heater, but personally, if it was me, I'd do the bypass.
  21. Check your coolant... If you haven't been getting services done (or the past owner...) you could have a rusty heater core that's beginning to leak... Get a pressure test done, should be able to get it done quickly and free at any workshop.
  22. ;)
