Being brissy born and raised, I have a certain affinity to it. I love my home city and there isn't another place on earth that gives me that feeling when I get off a plane, than when I get off here.
Yes, that might be the stifling humidity but it feels like home none-the-less. The only town I'd trade it for is Cairns, flew up there a few weeks ago and was mightly impressed with how well it's going.
I lived in Sydney for a short while and in various places in NZ (which is a damn good place as well), but I won't be taking off my Maroons jersey anytime soon.
Tackling airport drive and the gateway every morning and arvo is the only thing that shits me about it, but it's getting better (be it a bit slow) but we'll get there in the end. I do agree with Alf on one point though, NYE in brisvegas does suck balls, Sydney NYE was utterly insane, loved it and rate it as one of the best NYE of my life, Brissy you can't even get a drink behind a bar without waiting several thousand hours (on NYE).
But on all of his other points, I tend to disagree.
