i know this is never going to happen because bernie is now more interested in the money he gets from the sport than the sport itself but wouldnt you like to see adelaide back on the calender? I know i would..for more than just sentimental reasons. Not 1 person ive ever spoken to had a bad thing to say about the place. F1 loved adelaide and adelaide loved f1...sniff..sniff

oh do i what. Bumpier than a herpes outbreak. check this footage out in detroit in the wet. I know its only eddie cheever but damn hes got some skills. At around the one minute mark is especially good. cant believe he caught it. I know they werent ideal but racing on those surfaces added a great element of excitement to the sport. Street tracks will always be more real and ballsier to race on. And damn good fun to watch too.

i have one simple question to the lampooners among you.. You that are the first to drill the moron need to ask yourselves,,.." have you ever been 200 kph in your car?" and since i know the answer is yes ask yourself this one..." was it in an 80 zone?" dont bother answering. It doesnt frickin matter...200 is still way over the limit. Hypocrites...too many hypocrites. only advice..dont get caught.

Ralf wont get replaced. He will get a paycut though as it seems all that money hasnt helped keep him motivated. On another issue, I would be really interested to see what tilke comes up with in relation to the circuit in singapore. If he gets it right and ive heard hes relishing the prospect of being able to do a street circuit instead of cutting and shutting and building castles in the sand then we could be in for some really good racing next year.. Not like it isnt this year but coming from adelaide i love my streeties more than any track you care to name and the more the merrier.

Petes right there sleeper. I have a friend who was an old student of mine who takes me karting now and then. The guy gave me a suit, rib protector, gloves and boots ( can you believe that one Ken? ) and takes me out to Fujinomiya which may be the track dodgybrooks is referring to. Im going out again on June 2nd to do some testing which should be good. The day after that is an official event for the KT yamaha engined class so i cant wait to get out there and see how i measure up against the guys who do this in real competition! Its an expensive hobby mate that can turn into a nightmare if your serious about it and cant find support or backing. I have some contacts so im lucky. Usually a foreigner stands out in the crowd when it comes to racers and ive picked up a bit of interest from that alone..doesnt help to put others in the shade as well.. theyre sending my JAF license pete, by the way. Should arrive soon and when i get that things will get very serious. Ive basically got everything i need to start racing and nobuhiko is one great supporter. Dont know why i wasted so much bloody time. This place is great for getting into motorsport..hence the forum! sleeper, what exactly do you want to do because i might be able to help you out with some info.

Lewis Hamilton is a freak of nature...has anyone noticed that? Hes polite, well spoken, diplomatic and hes got the skills to put world champions in the shade in only his 3rd race. He drives as though f1 im going to go out on a limb and bet he will win the next race. He shouldve won Barain if it werent for a tyre choice screw up by McLaren. The boys a natural born champion.

damn...i missed it. my wife says shes really hot.. but i turn to her and say no..shes a bitch that only ever came good in the Mask and even then Carrey eclipsed her. ....my wifes much hotter and much more desirable..she is japanese after all... and NO..thats NOT the reason i bought a softcock phone...
-
hey Rezz, i see you got yourself a sharp 910 SH. damn good phone isnt it? i, too, bought the 5 mega pixel camera and lo and behold it came with a phone! did you take those pics with the phone or another camera? shame on softcok..they dont want any of us actually thinking we can export any of those little beauties over seas where every other model is inferior....except maybe a couple of nokias.. on another note, i saw a twin pack of boss cans in a conbini with a skyline model attached to them.. is that one of the same models by any chance?

oh..forgot to ask! what kind of work are you doing here Ken? chain school eikaiwa? ALT work? im guessing since youre still here youve gotten married but even all your millions wont last for long the way you like to spend money!

oh really? thats why you didnt say hello when i spoke to you. nice. mate, there is a university in akihabara and its doubled in student numbers. i just tonight actually signed my new contract to go full time with all the fruit. any otaku worth his salt would know about it. actually the company that it was created from do massive amounts of work in the animation and computer 3DCG fields.. nice Z by the way. told Phu about it but he didnt have any idea you had one.
-
speaking of akihabara, my wife and i saw you going through the station a couple of weeks ago. Puffy black jacket.

ill go first.. Still here in a 2DK in Fuchu, west tokyo...thought about moving to ueno but it was too upmarket for me.. Been here 2 years, 2 months, 2 days, 16 hours, and 43 minutes..and counting. Teachin and stylin at a university in Akihabara. just wrangled the last fine details for my contract..4 months paid off a year baby!! Not driving right now..still have to get my JPN licence..coming in a week. Im a granny...Boot me.. here for the long haul..at least 90 years. Married..but single at heart!!
-
heres how it goes... 1) Are you here and where? In a 5 LDK, a 1R or livin it up with the homeboys in ueno? 2) How long you have been here? Applies to even those who freaked out at Narita and are currently packing their bags after only 2 days.. 3) What you do? Even if its indescribable... hostesses are especially encouraged to supply details. 4 ) Do you drive? and if so what? Skylines are the obvious given in this case but will not be granted exceptional circumstances clauses. 5 ) Do you drive fast? or are you a granny? ( if the answer is "yes, im a granny ", please leave the forum immediately. 5 ) How long are you planning on staying? years, months, days or until immigration can kick you out? 6 ) Married or single? ...or both. keep it clean boys and girls! and dont hold back on the humour!

this season will be fascinating boys and girls let me assure you. im so stoked for lewis hamilton, hes such a meticulous driver and the move around the outside of the world champ into turn one at the start of the race can tell you hes not afraid of anyone. Unfortunately for Lewis, Alonso had the better strategy. Imagine if lewis had finished one step aove Alonso on the podium..that wouldve sent some MAJOR ripples throught the sport and most importantly through Alonsos psyche! I might be the only one thinking this but i am SURE Lewis will win a race this year and he will do it soon. shame the race was such a bore otherwise.. Theres talk of making Albert park a night race with the track all lit up to coincide with the dubai GP to be hosted a week earlier. now THAT would keep me awake infront of the telly!

i have to disagree with you Richard. i thought disney land was amazing. if youve never been there before you have to at least once. most japanese have been there a dozen times and i gather richard has too! definitely worth a days trip. Take the keiyo line from tokyo station. should cost you around 10 dollars to get there. 5000 yen will get you a day pass. if your in tokyo, visit the imperial palace garden grounds, stunning. you can also go to Harajuku where the Meiji shrine is..very tranquil. theres literally too much to do here but im sure youll be satisfied by what you do manage to do. as for the hotels im sure richard has more info..

hes a homeboy. "wak" is bad as in no good. a sentence would go something like this.. " yo man themz tail izzlez aint the shizzle ya dizzle? Themz wak." then you have to do the bolt before he pops a cap in yo ass.. LOL
-
LOL! dont worry mate. what good would it have been if you hadnt been there? we were two very lucky gaijin that day werent we?
-
no you dont! come over here and hook it up for yourself! The japanese are really approachable even if you have never met, chances are if you do it right ( like get down on your knees and beg ) theyre really willing to do what they can for you. another good example was a dude id never met who had his Autech version 4 door R33 parked near the video store near my house. i went up and started chatting about his car. turns out it had a hollinger 6 speed sequential box and 650 HP!!! took me for a burn in it cause i was foaming at the mouth. Obviously it was out of pity but man what a car. imagine that happening in Oz..? yeah...right.
-
it definitely was! they even rigged the selection process for me to get the ride!
-
this vid is a little old but its still a great memory for me from that time. scored a ride with a dude named hiroshi at Big X with Poida, another SAU member., a D1 driver for team orange. its a 100 chaser with around 600 HP. the res is crappy but, and please try to overlook the fact i was screaming half the time! it wasnt out of fear..i think i was blowing at the time..
