Im in tokyo and shopping around for a gtr in 32 guise. i will be buying one as a daily driver and then exporting it back to australia under the personal imports scheme. i have checked King Buyers website ( has anyone else seen the crazy rides theyve got for sale? if not google it and start drooling ! )and they have a few unbelievable gtrs that seem very reasonably priced ( around the 1.1 million to 1.8 million yen mark ) which equates to roughly 16 thousand australian. my questions are thus, 1. If the car has a rollcage, can it still pass ADR's? 2. Do top mount turbos also pass? 3. in respect to the first two questions, realistically, what mods will i be able to keep and which ones have to be replaced with stock items, taking personal import leniency ( if you could call it leniency, that is )? 4. I have noticed a downward trend in GTR values of late, yet id like to hear what you think one would be worth with all the fruit? 5. If possible can anyone give me a ballpark figure on what it would cost once all is said and done and the thing is on the road back in oz? im hoping some or all of these can be answered by people in Oz who are in the know. im ready to drop some serious cash and i need some serious advice. cheers for the help.

oh ill be sure to say hello to smokey again this year. man that guys got a wicked fro. to be honest he looks like a total geek with his glasses and all but you wouldnt dare tell him that. he gave me a goody bag last year and the top speed poster with the new skyline "gtr" was wicked. and his stable had some of the most impressive rides in the salon.

i think Japanese beer is great and im a fan of Malts ( the premium really is just that ) and as a bonus i live 10 minutes away from the factory near Fuchu station and you know what that means.. you get 15 minutes at the end of the tour to drink up the sweeeet nectar. They should never have let an aussie loose in there. i make them pay for it EVERY time still...i am REALLY hanging out for a boags premium. Thats by far THE best aussie beer and ill be damned if i can find it here.. closest i got was cascade..but well its just not the same!

Im here alright, in smoggy old Tokyo. been here 2 years, got married in July ( goes back to when i was still in australia ), worked for Gaba for a year, sued them for screwing me over, won that then promptly landed a job with a university. Loving this work..it even gives me time to do this stuff, plus i get paid 6k an hour.. looking to negotiate my contract for next year..we'll see how that goes but im guessing another 5 to 7 years. came to Japan for too many reasons to count..drift, F1, the car scene..all hot, hot , HOT. im over australia, too much grief. Japan is where ive grown a ton. saw F1 at suzuka twice, met schumacher and alonso, ( got the photos if you need proof! alonso signed my cap, webber signed my team shirt ), me and poida went drifting at bigx in 2005 with team orange...( damn hiroshi's mark 2 was tough ..you shouldve seen poidas face when i scored the ride first and he thought he wasnt going to be able to go too! priceless. he was mortified ), been to a stack of other events..the usual. Got a mate with a bonafide, legit 4 door Autech version R33...that thing hauled ass. Ill post some pics of that...still trying to get him around to letting me drive it.. all this stuff has been great BUT.. i STILL dont have my Fuggin GTR!!! #sigh#...

ive got two items i want to sell and they are both brand new, in the boxes. the pads are S tune for the Brembo 350Z and the gasket is for any RB engine im asking $160 for the pads now and $120 for the gasket.

ahh, sorry. im looking for $250 for the pads and $180 for the gasket. I have a blitz blow off valve as well that i want to sell for $50

i have posted in different threads but im hoping this will get a larger response. I have a set of Nismo S tune brake pads for the Z33 that i no longer need. They are brand new and in the box. They will only fit the brembo pack Z33. also i have a Nismo head gasket for the RB engine. its thickness is 0.9. this too is brand new and in the box i need to sell these items to the right person. any enquiries would be appreciated. I would be interested to see what people would pay for these items.

how much do S tune pads for a brembo equipped z33 and a RB nismo head gasket go for in oz?

This is my first post here and i have a couple of questions. forgive me if its in the wrong spot.. I am wondering what a nismo RB head gasket will fetch in oz? I have a new one that im looking find a home for. its t=0.9 also i have some S-tune brake pads for the Zed that are also brand new and i have no use for these too... theyll only go with the brembo pack Zed though. how much does anyone think these items would be worth on the aussie market?
