  1. Or damn invisible according to article 2.13.4 of the FIA's Ferrari International Assistance code, which states that, "... should any Ferrari drivers car be affected by panel damage and/or mechanical damage and only in the instance where the part is clearly seen to be a hazard to other drivers and marshals, in the essence that it is clear the part/s in question may come loose, does the FIA reserve the right to regard the matter as something that does not exist and will in no way interfere in the running of the car and driver in question nor the possibility of effecting the potential points scoring of said car and driver."
  2. just the way Ferrari likes it. It wouldnt be fair to them if McLaren werent in the shit for SOMETHING. Trust me, its not going to be the last time this is gonna happen.
  3. That looks like heaps of fun! There was a wicked skid at 3min.
  4. Uh, oh - Shit...Roy just logged on... Incoming! -Take cover!
  5. ROFL! :laughing-smiley-014: yeah, James, where is it man!? No compassion, Theres no compassion here man...here, theres no compassion.
  6. yeah, Ive, i know many think it was an unfair advantage and lets suppose McLaren were on the blower to the FIA and hammo telling him to keep going - that they thought he wasnt going to get penalised, its Mac's cock up and thats pretty daft - the red light in Canada and now this... I suppose Mac are shooting themselves in the foot and it wouldnt be the first time...
  7. Its not so much the FIA against hamilton but what the hell is the deal with the FIA and McLaren?? 100 million dollar fine...all these penalties... How can we sit here and say, "Nah, thats all just a coincidence." I still to this day cannot understand how Ferrari got away without even a slap on the wrist when they were involved in the spying saga. If it takes two to tango, the FIA shouldve hardened the feck up and slammed them both.
  8. You see, heres the rub. We lament the fact that there isnt any overtaking in F1 and heres hamilton with a pair of balls going for it and almost making it stick. He gets penalized for something we'd like to see, ffs. I think Hammo, as ragged as he was was awesome aggro. The move on Alonso was teh sickness...
  9. lap pillows..??? wtf!
  10. He was carrying speed - probably too much but the point here is whether or not he gained a performance advantage from it - seeing as that was the reason the FIA decided to penalize him and the case against it is 3 fold. Firstly, the same guy who was passed, Vettel, was never penalised for his frequent indiscretions over the same driving in Canada. Secondly, even the FIA admit the indiscretion was marginal at best yet they also conceded that by starting the investigation, left them no choice but to give him a penalty, the most lenient one. Thirdly, cmon, it was a STR. Its not like it wouldnt have happened again a couple of corners later. There needs to be consistency in these decisions but at the moment there appears to be blatant bias.
  11. Hamilton was damn right when he said this and many others agree with him... *Eventually persuaded to speak about the incident with Vettel, which effectively cost him any chance of finishing in the points, Hamilton commented: "I don't particularly feel I did anything. I went into the corner. I believe I was ahead on the outside and I couldn't turn in on the guy otherwise we would have crashed so I took the outside line, lost the back on the marbles and went over the kerb. I continued because I don't believe I overtook him by going over the kerb, I actually took him before that."* I dont get it. Vettel was cutting the kerbs lap after lap in Canada to keep Heikki behind him and was not penalized ONCE. How is that "NOT gaining a performance advantage" which is exactly what Lewis was hammered with. It f**ked his race properly. The pathetic stewards of the FIA should not have been investigating the incident in the first place. Once that was in motion, there was no turning back so the only option was for them to give him the "lightest" punishment available - the drive through - because by starting the process they HAD to... Utter bullshit if you ask me. McLaren - what can you say? 10 spots for Lewis, 5 for Heikki, drive-through for Lewis etc etc... Wheres it going to end? No other team has been targeted like this all season but there have been countless times when others should have been penalized and WERENT. Theres no equality with the FIA - and ill tell you whats bleeding obvious, and thats that the FIA is obviously taking kickbacks to cripple McLaren any way they can.
  12. Dezz, are you argumentative for arguments sake or do you just not like me? I dont care either way really, but im saying hamilton was past and lost traction, sliding sideways before the chicane. So do you think he should be penalized for losing control? If yes, then Raikkonen should have been penalised for losing control in Monaco. If no, then you would be in agreement with Ron Dennis who i would say knows a hell of a lot more about racing than you. If its the bleeding obvious for me to point out that raikkonnen rightly should have been pulled in AGAIN and head the part removed, then i see no reason not to discuss it. The simple fact is that you have some fundamental problem with ALL of my views on the sport and id like you to stop being so antagonistic.
  13. What do you need to send over, pete?
  14. Dont blame me, yo!! I asked for more cars, not less!
  15. LOL, that banner wasnt exactly what i had in mind! Now there are no cars at the top...
  16. when did you end up getting behind the wheel anyways richo? Giants car was it?
  17. Theyd go hand in hand wouldnt they? Such is the acknowledged gheyness.
  18. Im loving the way this championship is shaping up. Anyone who says this championship is anywhere near decided needs to stfu. There are still 100 points up for grabs and there are 5 ...even 6 drivers in it. 2008 , keep it rolling.
  19. yep, and ferrari had that opportunity but played to the FIA to overlook it coz that wouldve lost Kimi time, lol. Im so sick of ferrari manipulating the boards. Cmon, you know thats the way the game is played these days... McLaren are the scapegoat and ferrari are the victims. I hope BMW spank em both to be frank.
  20. You shit stirrer. Yo, ive said it before and ill say it again, FIA - Ferrari International Assistance. hammo f*kin drive through for a borderline pass and Kimi, 60 laps with a bloody broken part flapping in the breeze and guess what..? NOTHING. Not a damned thing said - even after that bloody part flew off the car. Nah... 'course a car burning itself on track isnt a hazard. FIA is rigged. Full stop.
  21. Id like to know how big your cahones are and whether or not you think youd be capable of the same. pfft, bloody Macedonian armchair viewers.
  22. Ive, if that was your idea of poor racing viewing, you need to go and do some lawn bowls or something... siriusly.
  23. Massa did it easy and to be honest, was gifted the race because of Kimi's bung exhaust. Pique you little battler, sneaking past alonso! Well done young man. Webbo again, taking well deserved points and how good was that battle between Heikki and Trulli! Koob was powerless to do anything about it...
  24. Trulli doing a great job hanging on to 3rd but i know heikki and Koobika have something to say about that. Webber for 5th - provided kimi doesnt go the distance, and how crazy is the fezza holding together after that!
  25. kimi with a bung exhaust... sucks to be him.
