What a night. Got royally tanked and fed for only 17 bucks culminating in a food fight and one of my mates pulling his balls out for a camera and on the way home saw a white R35 cruising through the Hachiko crossing intersection only to stop just after. Better go check this out i thought. They are awesome to see on the street. Nice bloke who was driving it, Koichi, specializes in plastic surgery and was kind enough to hop out and chat for a while as he was waiting for another friend - a girl and he already had 2 others in his car. Pimp. girls were pretty hot too. Business cards exchanged and we'll be hooking up next week to go for a drive. I cant wait. Hopefully i can bag a drive. That will be something. Funny thing he told me...Hed never owned a Nissan before this. His friend who works at Nissan coerced him into the purchase. He's only had it for a month and it only has 300 Kays on the clock. Ive seen some great paint-jobs done on cars that were housed in sheds. Sure TS's smokey's workshop, for example, isn't the cleanest but we all know the quality that comes from the Top-secret garage. I worked at a place in my teens as an apprentice and in my first year it was my job primarily to make sure the floor and the workshop were spic and span whenever, wherever. That was my boss' BMW ethos and i respected him for it...but that was him. Theres no reason why other workshops will do a lesser job because of a dirtier floor! lol, i still remember exhausting myself trying to hammer out the screwed rear suspension arm bushes on a 7 series saloon when the "boss" comes up with a blow torch to show me and another apprentice how its supposed to be done... Ive also seen F1 cars being put together in rooms resembling surgery prep.... stunningly clean. Regardless, I reckon with a crash repairer with a name like " ADAMS" crash is a sure fire winner if you ask me!, lol//

Not as silly as you think. The car is strapped in quite nicely and he was launching it because they were doing 1/4 mile simulations with the guys in the background going " 10.68, woohoo!" obviously referring to a 10.6 down the strip. i think thats a great idea for gaging a cars potential 1/4 m times. whats silly about it? I just saw a vid of a 2500 HP supra on a dyno. I think if a dyno of ANY make can handle 2500 ponies, surely, it can handle a standing launch from a car only making 600hp.. #braces for inevitable admin backlashing#
