Bud, do you realise what youve just said? more luxury than power sports? You're kidding right? Isn't 480 BHP enough for you to be considered power? Aren't 3.6 second bursts to 100KPH fast enough for you? Aren't 11 second quarter mile times quick enough for you? Think about it. Spunky, the GTR is a bonafide supercar with all the trimmings. Theres VERY little on the open market that can do what the GTR can for the price it asks. You should be very grateful Ghosn decided to go through with it. Nissan and its parent renault are thrifty spenders. They have been trying to cut back on everything they spend in all departments. F1 takes a lot of money for example. An obscene amount of money. Ghosn nearly pulled the pin on the GTR project early on citing financial reasons. Just think about what we may be lamenting if this project hadnt gone through. BTW, the Zed and the GTR are worlds apart in engineering, price and market placement. There is NO direct comparison really. Its all good! At least we can say we HAVE the GTR instead of crying into our beers over a legend never to be revived.

Spunky, why the lamentations? The car is everything it needs and then some. What the new R35 does out of the box totally blows anything you could achieve without spending mega dollars on in 32, 33, or 34 form, standard. Just ask Giant. He will tell you. A hopeless plug Russ, nut im sure youve seen this. I really hope you show them what you and the car are capable of. Im still going to try and see you, even if BB was there!

the R35 will be a japanese after market tuners nirvana. give it time. You will see.

thanks for the pics. Half of them though have already been posted though and most of us know the way the car looks. The way the current thread is running though, is leaning towards dental care and youve done little to dispel the rumour! Perhaps i should post in your thread and let you know how the test drive went. Would you like some pics of my own? I only shot with a D40X but i think i got the most out of my time there... Besides, Im sure im going to want to try and let as many people know about how it was... after all, i think britain will be getting it many months after japan.. so maybe i can help you guys out!

...if there isnt a 6 speed manual, then what will there be? A 7 speed? Think about the likelihood of that one. I also said but you may have missed, is that there will NOT be a clutch pedal in the car. That rules out a "manual" completely. sorry if i didnt make that clear earlier.
