  1. that doesnt sound like advice BB. That sounds like a threat. If you think your words dont apply to you as well, if i was you id stop and take a long hard look at myself. dont just go around and scoff at what i post. Im making an effort here to be involved and all you and some others feel like doing is sticking the boot it. You come across as a know it all and thats a pet hate of mine. And thanks Andrew, i wont take it personally. I just feel like my efforts have gone unappreciated... again. Sorry admin, ill try to get the information on the forum faster next time.
  2. I know the prices were the same. i know the release dates were the same. what no one knew was whether there would be a manual and i have TOLD you there wont be! 2Rismo modified his post and in the interest of the consistency of the info and content of the thread i will too. It didnt sound to me like he was defending me. More like you, mate.
  3. sorry mate. Im a bit pissed off right now. Im not trying to take it out on you, but Richards not exactly being welcoming of anything i care to contribute. Whats the deal?
  4. by the way, im not trying to start anything here. I came on with this post with new info and wanted to share it. Richard, your first comment was that what i posted was old news. Cheers mate, appreciate the comment. If you have nothing constructive to add to the discussion, why post on how irrelevant my info was? like i said...its guys like you that make me wonder why i bother.
  5. you always have to have the last word Richard. And you seem to think youre right about everything. What post exactly did i edit? i dont recall editing anything.
  6. dont worry about it Forged. Belch baron just has something against me. I dont care really> ive noticed his selective hearing and it doesnt bother me. And it wasnt just an engineer, a senior DSG engineer at that. It seems like many dont appreciate the info i got and i wonder sometimes why i bother for this site. Maybe i should take my information and my posts elsewhere?
  7. you must have had 2 years of relative experience in related fields prior to that which i assume you had?
  8. i suppose i was trying to quash the rumors and somehow that didnt work.
  9. Your right momo. But it depends on how long you have been working. To qualify for the work visa on your own back you have to have been working for at least 3 consecutive years here or can proove you have gained experience, worked elsewhere ( Oz for instance ) in a related field. You can just walk into immigration and sponsor yourself immediately after getting off the plane.
  10. really? i guess im going to have to redeem your offer to buy beer over the bet you lost with me. :sorcerer:
  11. umm. youve missed the point. There will NOT be any manuals. i think i said that right? There was a thread just yesterday about it. thats not old news.
  12. enjoy. I managed top get one of the Ford girls for 5 minutes to myself! Very very hot. Shes next to the Yellow mustang.. The cutouts everyones been asking about. This is the model i had 5 minutes to shoot. This Woman was extremely beautiful... These two were stunners also...
  13. LOL, commodore owners would tell you the same thing!
  14. ..mate, wait till you get a load of the GTR in the skin..its hardcore. Im not exaggerating. im so looking forward to testing it out...
  15. check the Japan section spunky. Im a Uni lecturer btw.
  16. oh ive got some beauties, dont you worry. more on that later. I think i spent half an hour shooting the cut out... sorry guys, im between work and posting so i dont have time for photos but i promise ill get on it as soon as i can...like tomorrow soon!
  17. you should see it. Pure horn.
  18. yes i did! They had two different types. Both extremely nice. Strange but..why two different body shapes? They had the sedan next to the coupe but they looked different and it wasnt just two doors.
  19. Look. I have part of the press kit here and nowhere in it does the word Skyline appear.
  20. i was going to ask that...i guess the horses mouth didnt smell good enough.
  21. hahah, thats right. sadly, you'll be about 2 years behind me when it comes to driving one.
  22. yah, NP. As long as you get rid of that stupid 10% warn thing on my profile... But , not tonight. I have 1000 photos to go through and lesson plans to make for tomorrow.
  23. Yes it did. But no it didnt. The GTR was race bred using the skyline chassis and name but has in itself become its own identity. This R35 bears no resemblance to its predecessors apart from its heritage, namesake and engineering wise. Nissan has taken the icon - GTR - and made a car out of it. All the previous gens were crafted out of cars that already existed. So on that level the "skyline" GTR has ceased to exist... only in name but!
  24. The V spec range is happening but he told me there will NOT be manuals in the range. Period. Again, there will not be a clutch pedal. He told me the car DOES NOT need it. I dont know why people keep on about it. Anyway, if you feel that strongly then vote with your feet and wallet. Petition Nissan to bring in a manual.
  25. It is the R35 GTR, There is no skyline in that sentence...
