If there was one car you would like to add to the SEVS register for all intents and purposes, what would it be?? And before jumping in and saying lambo this and fezza that, think about what you think would be great for the aussie market to be able to see and buy.. cheers.

i understood the 3 methods. obviously one of the ways im going to do it is to have a private import but starting a business is also on the list of things to do. Having a car added to the sevs register doesnt involve anything like smashing the car to prove its safety, does it?

do they make you pay LCT on a car over 60 thousand even if its a personal import?

places like who? and are they importing cars made after 1989?

is it possible?? ive seen some makes like ferrari lamborghini on the raws lists but i dont see and BMW or Merc.. I wonder how hard it would be to set up a business importing them into australia?

good news. euros are great value richard. i saw a CLK going in auction and when the dust settled the thing was 3.2 mil. The car was a 2004 3.2 with only 20k on the clock.. i then checked car sales and comparative example were more than double that.. bit of a shock. oh, by the way, failed finance...havent been at work long enough and neither has wifey... never mind... Im just going to have to put more cash together.

thats helps a little but your not 100 % sure, right? i wouldve thought the same about what you said..but for some reason i reckon if you buy a car from auction its slated for release from the country, not for re registering..i could be very wrong though.. can anyone give me a definitive answer?

My friend was asking me if its possible for him to register a car in japan having bought it from auction here.. i couldnt for the life of me answer the question and id like to know as well.. I think ( read:think ) its possible for him. any ideas or feedback? thanks
