Congrats Dave, that is just nuts! Hard to imagine how it must feel to get another 80rwkw out of the same turbo Btw, where is your local E85 supply at? Cheers Adrian
-
Wow that is cheap. I wonder how good these are compared to the other copies and whether it will suit the r34's???
-
Can vouch for Nistune; its great especially if you have an auto. Mine just got tuned to 283rwkw on my r34

Bass, its hard to believe a pressure drop that great inflicted by the intercooler design. My thoughts are that it would have to be poorly manuafactured or even leaking to yeild such a drop. I knew a mate that apparently had a minor crack in one of the intercooler welds which also gave him strife for a while. Goodluck with it.

Running In A Turbo & Results - Gt3076
adzR34 replied to Tangles's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Can vouch for the gt3076 makes excellent power for the street, has a touch of lag though. Would an exhaust cam improve response a little?? My auto is holding perfectly too with 281rwkw -

R34 gtt Auto 281.1rwkw @ 15.5 psi fmic 3inch turbo back gt3076 profec b walbro pump highflow injectors nistune Round two: more boost -
Yeah prior to the install the car felt a little weak in the midrange like it lost a touch of power and then came on again. But honestly the response is really its strong point, i could basically take anyone at the lights and get infront. Literally the power is on very early. Autosport, i have heard of them before. Are they known as Unique autosports? Let me know if you need any further help

Hi mate, I had mine installed and tuned at Unigroup Engineering out at toongabie way, they know their skylines well. I was honestly shocked by the gains myself as mine was an auto. Prior to install my car ran the same boost 11-12 and made ~174rwkw which was Full exhaust, profec B, Intercooler and apexi pod i think. I Remember expecting the coils to go but they did hold up fine even up to now. When i installed the AFC Neo i also installed a fuel pump just incase the standard one let go. Also recommend to do the plugs! I think theyre bcpr7es, slightly colder than standard. On the street my car was really responsive, and it honestly felt like driving a bigger engine if that makes sense. PM me, you will find i am negotiable. Cheers

Hi Everyone, Due to my latest turbo upgrade ive decided to place my Apexi AFC Neo up for sale. The unit has been faultless and excelent for the past ~7000 kms whilst on the car. I can strongly reccommend this piggy back unit to anyone seeking to extract the most from their standard turbo under a responsible budget. Most noticable after the tune was a dramatic increase in fuel economy and power output of 205.5rwkw @ 11.5psi. This was on my auto which does sap a tad more power than the manuals Located in Sydney Condition: As new as it only ever saw its time in my glovebox Pictures will be posted as soon as the car arrives back from the workshop I also have the original box and instruction manual Price: $380 Cheers Adrian

Hi everyone, I am thinking of purchasing the Bosch D2R kit, but from the pictures i cannot see the cables that connect the ballast to the battery? If anyone has connected this kit to their r34, please let me know. I am just a little confused at the moment. Cheers Adrian

Hi everyone, I experienced the weirdest problem, with my boost controller and its got me.. (on a r34 gtt) I just started my car and the Profec B spec 2 just lit up red and stayed like that beeping. I turned the car off and started it again and it did the same thing. I pressed a few buttons and it when away. Im not sure what it could be, does anyone have any advice? Thanks Adrian

I can agree with cubes, in my mildly tuned r34 the motul xcess 8100 5-40 has really improved the way the car runs.. It doesnt burn almost any oil, in my last 3 changes. However i have seen a drop of oil leak say every week.. Wondering if a move to a 10w-40 would help the slight leak.. However all in all the xcess 8100 has really tested itself- i find it stays golden till about 4000kms and then starts to slowly go darker so by 5000km it looks dark. Great oil for the money

R34 Alternative Shocks
adzR34 replied to adzR34's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
does this mean everyone is lowering thier car using coilovers or the bilstiens? -
Hey everyone, Ive been searching around and no one seems to make alternative shocks for the r34 gtt appart from bilstien. I dont think Koni, monroe, KYB seem to make shocks for the r34 gtt.. Does anyone know of another manufacturer that makes shocks for the r34? Just weighing my options and id like a shock and spring setup rather than coilovers... (I know of the sydkid group buy i wana know if there's anything else out there) I want to lower the car 1-2inches all round Cheers for any help guys Adrian
