  1. Sent the pics, and I left a message for Tony on that number at 12:35 to call me back. Thanks
  2. Hey champ, the car is located in Goulburn, I'm heading back to work now, I'll send you some pics when I get home. Cheers
  3. Pics have been sent to everyone who has requested them.
  4. Yeah I've got some pics, what's your email and I'll send them across. Damage isn't that bad, will definitely need a new front bar, bonnet, headlights, fmic, radiator and engine fan. Front guards are unharmed. Don't think I'll be wrecking the car. Would've liked to transfer the RB and all the running gear into an s13 but funds do not permit unfortunately. Any other questions, just let me know.
  5. Got a damaged 33 gtst-t rolling shell with long motor and manual gearbox for sale. The engine has 193k on it, last compression test showed all cylinders were between 143 and 145psi. Gearbox is fine, doesn't crunch or slip out of gear, has a nismo short shifter in it. The damage is only to the front of the car, needs a new bonnet, front bar, headlights, radiator, engine fan and I think that might be it. Rest of the car is in pretty good nick, if you would like pictures of the car just leave your email address and I'll send them asap. Any questions just PM me. 6. Right here! What other little bits are you interested in???
  7. Got my Power FC and hand controller for sale. Came off my 1995 R33 GTS-T Series 1.5. Tuned by Croydon Racing Developments in Silverwater to suit Z32 afm, standard injectors, GT30R, GReddy Inlet Manifold, standard coilpacks and a bunch of other crap. Made 260kw on 15psi. Also selling the GReddy Plenum for $700, it has the GReddy throttle body adapter welded to it so if you're interested in using a larger throttle body on it, no dice. Comes with rail, injectors and loom and of course the throttle body adapter as it's welded on there, can't stress that enough. Can even give you the piping from the throttle body to the intercooler provided you have a frount mounted one (Of course you do, everyone does.) so you can just chuck it on without the help of a fabricator. Also selling my exhaust manifold $700, it's custom made from 3mm thick steam pipe, made by Sonny (STR8180) from the Nissan Silvia forums so you know it's good, got a lifetime warranty on it, it's not suitable for someone wanting a screamer pipe though. And a Turbosmart 38mm street gate for $250, it's got a 1bar spring in it. Mobile number is 0406 297 915, Craig's the name. 8. In regards to being allowed only one air/compression modification, I'm pretty sure that's not right. Any front mounted intercooler requires an engineer certificate stating that the structual and safety integrity of the front of the vehicle has not been compromised. After you fix all the defective mods I'd strongly recommend getting your car engineered. The pod is an easy fix, just go to Supercrap and buy a cheap pod filter schroud/cover to enclose the pod to lower induction noise, that's all that the boys in blue require. And as for your exhaust, put your silencer in, make up a plate with some holes in it and bolt it between your exhaust flange and the muffler, that should bring your exhaust down to the required 89dB. Plumb your blow-off valve back into your intake and as for the other stuff that's pretty self explanatory. If you want the name and number of the guy who engineered my car just shoot me a PM. But be prepared to pay around $600 for an engineer certificate, but in my opinion it's worth every cent knowing that you don't need to worry if you're pulled up. I know how much of a pain it is trying to clear a defect, although with your mods it shouldn't be a huge hassle. Good luck.
  9. Two birds with one stone. It has a cannon AND a GT-R badge! http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...st&id=75129 Even if that car ^ had an RB26, it still couldn't justify wearing a GT-R badge. Disgrace.
  10. You don't have to have an import to have a cannon, you just have to have something .. well .. good. And a non-turbo Silvia and a SSS Pulsar are good cars earning them the right to wear a cannon proudly. Also saw an R8 ute with twin cannons out the back, respect to it. And I'm assuming that the majority of Skyline owners have a cannon on their car for the same reason, it came with the exhaust system they bought and it all bolts up nicely. As for the matter of bolting one on to improve the sound, most of the Excel and Lancer etc owners just bolt it onto the standard exhaust thus not improving the sound at all, worsening it in fact. And nothing could be worse then those cannons with the led lights surrounding the tip. Either way you have to draw the line somewhere, as you can see from the featured picture, that truck has a cannon, why? I don't know, it offers no visual satisfaction or any benefits at all.
  11. Bad luck man, I had something similar happen to me when I owned my 180. Looks like a full respray at the culprits insurance companies expense. Congrats on the baby girl!
  12. If you see anything similar don't be shy, whip out the old camera phone and snap a few shots. I'm yet to get a photo of this really old Soarer that parks out on the street sometimes which has a GT-R badge on it and a heap of stickers all over Trust, HKS and all that jazz.
  13. Yeah adding a canon to anything with four wheels (or less) is fast becoming a trend. Before moving to Sydney I lived in Goulburn, home of level 5 water restrictions, many defects and alot of bogans, they chuck canons on just about everything ... Mirages, Swifts, VT's, XR6 utes, even saw a Toyota Hiace with a canon, Supplied by Super Cheap Auto of course. Next all the N/A cars with be cruising around with them fake blow-off valve whistler things off Ebay. Anyone else got some pics???
  14. Driving to work this morning on Parramatta Rd, stopped behind this at the lights and just had to take a photo. Now I've seen canons on Excels, Lancers, every kind of commodore, a Ford Maverick for some reason, Toyota Rav4, Jeep wranglers and the list is endless. But this takes the cake. If you have any pics please post them up.
  15. His workshop is in Fairfield. And his mobile number is in my signature.
  16. Afternoon everyone, Thought I should bump this back up in the interest of the people, it's just not getting the exposure it deserves. How do you get a "sticky" thread? ... Bribe?
  17. I have a feeling they won't fix it without more money. Plus I don't think I can trust them to "fix" it, they'll probably make it worse. And I know I can't get a refund.
  18. Cost me $3000 for the Power FC, Z32 air-flow meter and the tune which means I paid over $1000 for a dodgy tune. I'll get someone to check out the sensor. I don't think I'll go back there, they seemed kind of hostile towards me. I have a friend who highly recommends Powertune in Fairfield, and from what I have read on these forums, they're not so good, but my friend assures me they can do just as good a job as Unique Autosports. Anyone on here had experiences with them? Thanks for all the help.
  19. I knew I should've taken it to SAS in the first place. One of the guys from SAS told me that Advan don't even have a proper tuner working for them, said they specialise in "bling" only. Any idea what part might not be 100% to 'cause that sloppy power curve?
  20. Hey guys, I'm just wondering who amongst all of you has had their car tuned by Advan Performace in Silverwater. Reason I'm asking is after they tuned my car I have been experiencing high levels of engine knock, high as in the hundreds according to the Power FC hand controller, and my ignition timing is at 42 degrees which I have been told is extremely high. I have had the engine compression tested, result was 145 across all cylinders, car doesn't blow any smoke or make any strange noises. The drive home Advan the knock level did not exceed 22, then the following day I think it went up to 120 something, highest reading from the hand controller was 200 and something, I'm hoping it's a faulty knock sensor or something. Hasn't seemed to damage the engine at all. So I'm just trying to find out if anyone else has had a problem with their tuning. I'm thinking of taking it to CRD to be retuned. Any suggestions or input is appreciated Thanks
  21. Isn't the steering wheel for the Series 2 the same as the Type-X steering wheel? They look similar from memory.
  22. The series one has no airbags either, the series 1.5 has drivers side airbag and the series 2 has both driver and passenger airbags which ShylineR33 already pointed out. There's a heap more differences between them but if I want to know what series Skyline it is I just go straight for the airbags.
