  1. Set of four Starform wheels (these are a high quality jap copy of German BBS mesh style wheels) - see pic below. Front 17x8", +40mm offset, 225/45 tyres Rear 17x9", +45mm offset, 245/40 tyres 5 stud - the offsets suit R33, 200SX, 300ZX and Supra (I had them on my R33). Excellent condition - minor kerb scrapes on a couple. Asking $1,300 total including nuts & locknuts, but I would prefer Adelaide buyers who can inspect and collect in person.
  2. Nope - I don't think it would fit a Series 2 as the headlights are in a different position. Please note - all of these items have now been sold. See ya, Peter.
  3. Hi Horny Babe (great name BTW - got my wife REALLY interested!) Nope - the price is still $1000. These are top-line really light jap rims in as-new condition WITH good tyres. For info, the new price in Australia for these exact wheels is $552 EACH - check out: http://www.racingspec.com.au/performance.html Cheers, Peter.
  4. Yep, I know - but I'd be asking $1500 if they were 17s!
  5. Nope, I just checked all the bearings and water pump seal and they seemed fine - my motor has only done 75k. Old belt was pretty loose, which must have been what was causing the rattling noise - fixed now. Peter.
  6. Hi Clint, got your PM and will call. ScarifieR, yes, these will also fit a (5 stud) R32.
  7. Did the job on Saturday. No problems! Took about 3 1/2 hours start to finish - an easy way to save a quoted $250 labour costs... Jerry's advice was spot-on, only two minor changes: 1) My crank nut wasn't 30mm, the best fit was actually 1 1/16"! 2) The M6 puller holes in the harmonic balancer weren't very deep - I could only get the puller screws in about 5 or 6 mm - this was still OK. Total cost was $104 for the belt (genuine Nissan - I couldn't see the point in risking an inferior belt to save $20) and $18 for the puller. I can recommend you do this job yourselves guys, it is not hard if you're careful, and you get to learn a lot about your engine (belts, water pump, oil seals etc). Cheers, Peter.
  8. Thanks heaps for your advice Jerry! I'm sure the other guys will also find it useful. I'll do the job this weekend and let you know how it goes. Peter.
  9. Bump. Moot, I can't contact you and I have no payment, so I have to assume you're no longer interested.
  10. Thanx guys. Never had any luck with the "put it in gear" trick with other cars (they just creep forward even in top!). Maybe the 'line handbrake is better... I have a torque wrench - what torque does the big nut take?
  11. Hi all, About to change the timing belt on my R33 GTS25T. Have most of the details sorted out (part number, tensioning, torques etc), but one question before I embark on the job: Q: Do you really have to remove the crank pulley to get the lower belt cover and belt off? If so, how do you lock the crank in position to undo the f*%# big nut, and is a special puller required? What mega torque does it then need to replace? Thanks in advance for any info, Peter.
  12. Can anyone help with what the wheel alignment figures should be for an R33 GTS25T? Doesn't look like much can be adjusted in the rear except toe-in, but I do have adjustable caster rods on the front. Any (factual) advice welcomed! Thanks, Peter.
  13. Hi there, Does anyone know if any of the commercially available R33 FMIC kits can be fitted without cutting the steel front bumper support? I am happy with trimming the plastic front bumper, but understand that its illegal here in SA to hack the metal part. Thanks in advance for any answers.
  14. Have checked freight and it will only be about $20 to Melbourne. I thought it would be more too, as they weigh over 20kg.
  15. Hi DJ_L3ThAL, if you can stretch to $1400 incl freight, you have a deal. Sciby, what you sold yours for doesn't really interest me. I'm asking $1400 for mine.
  16. Should be OK but I can't say for sure - can anyone else answer this?
  17. C'mon - someone must know!
  18. Does anybody know the offset of stock R33 GTS25T wheels? I know they are the same general wheel as S14 200SX, but is the offset the same? Thanks, Peter.
