  1. But E85 is cheating
  2. Just a bit of an update. Had Toshi up on Friday last week for a tune post piping, IC and ignition 'upgrades'. We tuned on the street and then too it to a dyno for a quick run. Result was 616hp @ 24.5PSI on BP 98 straight off the bat. Pretty happy, but on the dyno, maintaining load above 6000rpm the mix was getting leaner and leaner. Running out of fuel. 044 surge tank pump not up to the task so need something bigger.
  3. Not a fan of foam filters. Seen heaps of the HKS mushroom filters break down. You know where the foam goes I'm sure yours are well maintained tho
  4. Yeah I'm sure it would be. The minister of war and finance might have different ideas.
  5. I will be about a week into fatherhood, so to say I am doubtful is an understatement.
  6. Showld be a ok job for that, but so many variables.
  7. Racehouse? Don't they turn them into dogfood when they stop winning?
  8. Job hunting at this time of year would suck
  9. Funnily enough I extended the original line. Being a 2+2 tho the stock res is in front of and below the jets. 2+0 has res in rear guard so I am going to chase one down. Aparantly they have a spring and ball valve
  10. Got a little bit done on the holidays. Got the side mount ducting on. PITA process or fit, attempt fit front bar, mark, remove, trim, repeat. Got it done tho. CF foglight ducts from Powertrix in the US finish off the front nicely. Got it all back together and went for a test drive. Returned home to find brake fluid all over my left rear wheel. Caliper seal gone. Swapped caliper out for a spare I had at home and I'll order a seal kit to put through the spare pair and then swap them in. Also finished relocating my windscreen washer bottle to the boot with the battery. Factory location is right behind the drivers side IC so it had to go. Ended up getting a generic bottle/pump combo due to its small size. Only issue now is with the mass of water in the line from boot to front and hard braking, the windscreen gets a wash lol Took it on a cruise on a stinking hot day (up and down a mountain) and everything ran sweet. Temps great, brakes work. I think it is fairly ready for a tune now. Toshi is coming up later in the month I think Oh, also washed it for the first time since Easter.
  11. Will depend. Possibly the weekend that Toshi will be up.
  12. Yeah if only centerlink paid more...
  13. Check the linkage from the shifter to the shift rod. I have seen the bolt (and nyloc nut) done up too tight, making the shifter very tight and hard to move. Wind the nut back a quarter of a turn.
  14. Is the car new (to you)? Or have you had it a while? Has it always been hard to shift? Has any work at all been done to the car recently?
  15. Also finished the hks dli install and new (propper tt z32) plugs. Don't get me started on z32 plug choice. Very keen to see how it tunes up. No E85 cheating bs here
  16. So after boost leak testing everything, in sections, all I found was a pin hole leak in one of my new hardpipes. Other than that it is tip top. Idle issues seem to have been resolved with a simple TPS reset. Voltage was correct, but wasn't getting a throttle closed signal. Haven't test driven yet, pointing to should be good tho!
  17. Oh sweet! Glad you could make it!
  18. Cool cool, I sent the message, will let you know the outcome
  19. How sure are you that the coilpack connectors are the same as VG? I ask because they are only available to suit VG OEM connectors. No refunds
  20. Do you have a color preference Mel? Black?
